The present invention relates to an arrangement suitable for carrying out a threading game.

A large number of arrangements for threading games are known from the state of the art. Corresponding threading games are often used as JLejrnjJ3p_ieJLe for small children, for example for children from the age of three.

A threading game arrangement is known from US patent 3,604,127, in which several task fields and several corresponding solution fields are provided on a card. A cord is attached to each task field and each solution field has a hole through which one of the cords can be threaded. The cords are different colors. To play the game, a solution field must be assigned to a task field by threading the cord of the relevant task field through the hole of the relevant solution field. To make it possible to check which tasks have been solved, the card has color markings on the back around the holes, for example, which - if the task is solved correctly - correspond to the color of the cord threaded through.

In order to be able to handle several different task units, according to US 3,604,127, an embodiment is provided to provide an envelope-like card holder with windows. In these

several cards, each with different task units, can be inserted one after the other. When the card is inserted, the task and solution fields on the card are visible through the windows of the card holder. In this example, the strings are not attached to the card itself, but to the card holder, each attached to a task field window. The holes assigned to the solution fields go through the card holder and the card. In this case, the card can be moved a little in the card holder to check the solution. This makes the color markings visible for checking the solution.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, a locking device is provided on the card holder, with which an inserted card can be fixed in the card holder. To prepare for the game, a card with a task unit must first be inserted into the card holder. In a next step, the locking device is then operated so that the card is fixed in the card holder. After this preparation, the actual threading game of the first task unit can be carried out. To do this, the strings are threaded through the corresponding holes in the manner described. Finally, to check the solution, the locking device is set to the unlocking position and the card is moved a small distance so that the color marking fields become visible. After completing the solution check, the strings must be pulled back out of the holes and finally the card is removed from the holder to return to the starting state. The next card with the second task unit can then be inserted, etc.

This means that a relatively high level of effort is required to prepare for the execution of a second task unit on a second card after completing the game of a first task unit on a first card. In addition, the various cards with the different task units and the card holder are loose parts, which means there is a risk that these individual parts will be lost.

Furthermore, it is to be assumed that when the game is used by small children, an adult is required to carry out the described measures associated with the game. Finally, the locking mechanism leads to a certain risk of injury when operating the game.

The object of the present invention is to provide an arrangement with which a threading game can be carried out particularly easily and in a child-friendly manner. In particular, the disadvantages mentioned above should be avoided.

According to the invention, the arrangement comprises a booklet with several pages and at least one fixed cover. The cover is connected to the pages by a common binding. When the booklet and cover are folded together, the cover has an area that projects over the pages, in a direction perpendicular to the binding of the booklet. The cover has several holes in the projecting area. The arrangement also comprises a cord element that can be attached to the fixed cover. The holes are dimensioned such that the cord element can be threaded through the holes.

Due to this intended handling of the arrangement, the lid advantageously has such a strength that the threading process can be carried out well on the one hand and the holes do not suffer mechanical damage during repeated threading processes, for example by tearing or the like. For example, the solid lid can be made from a suitably sturdy cardboard box. However, another bend-resistant material such as plastic or wood can also be used.

In view of the special stress on the hole edges in this context, a special edge reinforcement of the holes can also be provided, in which case the other areas of the lid can be less strong than the edge reinforcement.

It is advantageous to attach the cord element to the protruding area of the fixed cover. This way, folding the booklet and cover together is not hindered.

The fixed cover can still be identical to the booklet cover. However, the booklet cover can also be formed separately. It is also possible for several fixed covers to be provided. For example, two fixed, equally sized and congruent covers can be provided, one of which is designed as the front of the booklet or booklet cover and one as the back of the booklet or booklet back wall. Holes and a cord element can be provided for both covers, but only one of the covers can be provided with holes and a cord element. In this case, if the two covers and the pages between them are folded together, this provides particularly good protection for the booklet pages.

It is also advantageous if the cord element has a threading element at its free end. The holes are sized so that the threading element can be threaded through the holes. Using a threading element makes the threading process easier. This is especially true for the target group of small children mentioned above.

With regard to the shape and size of the threading element and the holes, it can also be advantageous to adapt the dimensions of the holes to the shape of the threading element. For example, round, rectangular or triangular shapes or the like are possible.

The threading element can be made of wood, plastic or cardboard, for example. This choice of material allows for child-friendly design options.

The binding of the booklet can preferably be a wire spiral binding, a plastic spiral binding or a binding with rings or ribbons. Various materials can be used.

Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the threading game arrangement 1. The booklet is shown in an opened state and the two opened pages 2 and 3 can be seen. The fixed cover 5 is connected to the booklet by a common binding, according to this embodiment in the form of a spiral binding 4.

The cord 7 further comprises a threading element 9. This will be discussed in more detail below with reference to Figures 3a and 3b.

The solid lid 5 is made of cardboard, for example. The material thickness is such that the cord 7 can be easily threaded through the holes 6. Furthermore, the material thickness is selected with regard to the holes 6 such that the holes 6 do not tear or are otherwise mechanically overstressed by repeated threading processes and even when the threaded cord 7 is moderately tightened.

The holes 6 are circular in shape according to the embodiment in Fig. 1. The diameter of the holes is selected such that the threading element 9 can be easily pushed through the holes 6 during the threading process of the cord 7.

Of course, a different hole shape is also possible, for example, when using a ribbon instead of a cord, a rectangular hole shape can be chosen, with the long side of the holes adapted to the width of the ribbon.

When using a threading element 9, the size and shape of the holes 6 must be adapted to the threading element 9. Various examples of threading elements 9 are shown in more detail below with reference to Figures 3a and 3b.

According to the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the fixed cover 5 also has a certain overhang to the right and left of the pages, which contributes to better protection of the pages of the booklet.

When the arrangement 1 is folded, the cord 7 can also be used to tie the arrangement 1 together.

According to Fig. 1, the fixed lid 5 has rounded corners, thereby reducing the potential risk of injury when using the arrangement 1.

To use the arrangement as a threading game, a task can be specified on one side 3, for example. To solve this task, the cord 7 must be threaded through the holes 6 in a certain way. Fig. 1 shows an example of the state in which the cord 7 is arranged after completion of such a solution or threading process. This advantageously provides a clear correlation between the correct solution to the task and the threading pattern that results when the solution is correct.

To check the solution, the corresponding string threading pattern, which represents the correct solution, can be shown graphically on another page 2 of the booklet.

When using a wire spiral binding 4, for example, with reference to Fig. 1, at the beginning and during the processing of the task, page 2, which shows the solution, can be folded back so that the solution pattern cannot be seen when the task is being processed from page 3. For checking, page 2 can then be folded up so that it can be seen, as shown in Fig. 1, for example. Of course, the solution to the task can also be shown on another page, for example on the back of page 3. With regard to the binding of the booklet and the fixed cover 5, it is therefore advantageous to

Figures 2a and 2b show various ways of attaching the cord 7 to the fixed lid. For example, the fixed lid can be designed in a sandwich structure and have two outer layers, for example made of 230g cardboard, and a middle layer 40, for example made of 2 mm grey cardboard. Punchings can be provided in the middle layer 40 to accommodate the cord 7 or the band 47.

The cord 7 is glued between the outer layers as shown in Fig. 2a. The cord 7 can be, for example, a round cord, for example with a diameter of 3 mm made of plastic or natural fiber.

In Fig. 2a, the middle layer 40 can be seen with a wave-shaped punch 41, which in the area of the opening 44 changes into a linear section that runs at right angles to the outer edge 45 of the middle layer 40. As an alternative embodiment, a further punching form 42 is shown in Fig. 2a, which has a larger recess in its inner area, which is intended to accommodate a knot of the corresponding cord 7.

According to Fig. 2a, the cord 7 originates from the fixed cover 5 at a point on the outer edge. The fastening option shown can also be used at another point on the fixed cover 5, for example, with regard to Fig. 1, at the fastening point 8.

Arrangement suitable for carrying out a threading game, comprising a) a booklet with several pages, b) at least one solid cover connected to the sides by a common bond, wherein - the hard cover, when the booklet is folded with the cover in a direction perpendicular to the binding, has an area that projects beyond the pages, and - the fixed cover has several holes in the protruding area, and a) a cord element attachable to the fixed lid, the holes being dimensioned such that the cord element can be threaded through the holes. 2.
