Abstract

The fully welded ball valve housing comprises a pipe (1) with a pipe connector (2) welded to each side. The housing has an opening (3) in which is fitted a dome (4) to house an operating device (7) for the ball (6). The dome on its end fitting in the opening has a conical start (8) while the opening has a conical bore corresponding to it. The housing pipe and pipe connectors have finely machined joining faces, and the housing pipe, dome and connectors are interconnected by laser welding.

Claims (1)

Vollverschweißtes Kugelhahngehäuse mit einem Gehäuserohr (1), beidseitig von dem jeweils ein Anschlußstutzen (2) zum Anschluß an Rohrleitungen angeschweißt ist und das eine Öffnung (3) aufweist, in das ein sich senkrecht zur Längsachse des Gehäuserohrs (1) erstreckender Dom (4) zur Aufnahme einer Betätigungseinrichtung (7) für eine Kugel (6) eingesetzt und mit dem Gehäuserohr (1) verschweißt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Dom (4) an seinem in die Öffnung (3) einzusetzenden Ende mit einer kegeligen Andrehung (8) versehen ist, während die Öffnung (3) eine zu der Andrehung (8) korrespondierende Kegelbohrung ist, daß das Gehäuserohr (1) und die Anschlußstutzen (2) fein geschlichtete Fügeflächen aufweisen und daß Gehäuserohr (1), Dom (4) und Anschlußstutzen (2) durch Laserschweißen miteinander verbunden sind.Fully welded ball valve housing with a housing tube ( 1 ), on both sides of which a connection piece ( 2 ) for welding to pipes is welded and which has an opening ( 3 ) into which a dome ( 4 ) extending perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the housing tube ( 1 ) used to receive an actuating device ( 7 ) for a ball ( 6 ) and welded to the housing tube ( 1 ), characterized in that the dome ( 4 ) is tapered ( 8 ) at its end to be inserted into the opening ( 3 ). is provided, while the opening ( 3 ) is a tapered bore corresponding to the rotation ( 8 ), that the housing tube ( 1 ) and the connecting piece ( 2 ) have finely finished joining surfaces and that the housing tube ( 1 ), dome ( 4 ) and connecting piece ( 2 ) are connected to each other by laser welding.
