Abstract

A method for fitting a panel onto a roof, e.g. a solar panel, has the panel supported on all sides by a shaped frame which is clipped directly onto the roof frame and which replaces the tiles. The upper edge of the frame can be shaped to sit over the ridge. The frame sections are shaped extrusions and include an upper part which presses a seal onto the top of the panel. The panel sits on an elastic seal on the support flange of the frame to spread the weight of the panel evenly. Additional supports can be fitted under the panel to prevent bending of the panel. The edge of the support frame is provided with ventilation slots to cool the panel. The fitting is completed with seals to the surrounding roof.

Claims (7)

1. Befestigungssystem für ein plattenförmiges Bauelement (10), insbesondere für ein photovoltaisches Modul, auf einem Schrägdach, wobei das plattenförmige Bauelement (10) die Dacheindeckung ersetzt und auf zumindest zwei in First- Traufe-Richtung angeordneten Trägern (32) aufliegt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an allen Rändern des plattenförmigen Bauelements (10) Träger (12, 32, 52, 72) vorgesehen sind, die einen Grundrahmen bilden, der das plattenförmige Bauteil (10) abstützt, seitlich umgreift und oberseitig wasserdicht einfasst.1.
