Abstract

Torque sensor in the form of a monolithic disk shaped receiving component (1). The sensor comprises outer (11) and inner (10) circular flanges, with force injection points, that are linked by radial connecting legs. Each connecting leg comprises a lower recess (15) with a u-shaped section and a thin membrane type connection on the plane surface of which is attached a measurement sensor. Approximately radially directed wall sections of the connecting legs have different wall strengths and so varying elasticity and stiffness. The invention also relates to a corresponding method and arrangement for determining the torque of an electric motor drive that is inserted prior to the motor gear train.

Claims (4)

1. Drehmomentsensor in Form eines monolithischen Aufnahme­ teils, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Drehmomentsensor als ein kreiszylinderförmiger Hohlzylinder (1) mit an einem Ende in diesen vorstehenden Innenflansch (3) mit ersten Kraftein­ leitungsstellen (4) und an dem anderen Ende vorgesehenen Au­ ßenflansch (5) mit zweiten Krafteinleitungsstellen (6) ausge­ bildet ist, wobei in der Außenmantelfläche (2) des Hohlzylin­ ders (1) mindestens eine plane Abflachung (7) ausgebildet ist, auf welcher entsprechend ausgerichtete Dehnungsmeßstrei­ fen (8) aufgebracht sind, die nach dem Prinzip einer Wheat­ stone-Brücke jeweils zu Viertel-, Halb- oder Voll-Brücken in der Weise geschaltet sind, dass aus erhaltenen Messwerten ein Drehmoment ermittelbar ist.1.
