Claims (5)

1. Vorrichtung zur Längenbestimmung von sich an einer Zei­ lenerfassungseinrichtung vorbeibewegenden Objekten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Sensor (13) zur Erkennung des Ob­ jektanfangs in einem vorgebbaren Sensorabstand (a) in der Be­ wegungsrichtung (A) hinter der Zeilenerfassungseinrichtung (12) angeordnet ist, der kleiner als die Objektlänge (b) ist, und dass jeweils durch ein Sensorsignal triggerbare Mittel (14) zur Auslösung der Messung einer Restlänge des noch die Zeilenerfassungseinrichtung passierenden hinteren Endbereichs des Objekts (10) mittels der Zeilenerfassungseinrichtung (12) vorgesehen sind, wobei sich die Objektlänge (b) als Summe des Sensorabstands (a) und der gemessenen Restlänge ergibt.1.
