Abstract

A method for fitting an orthopaedic cover/stocking onto a stump without abrading the skin has a double layer sleeve made in one piece and folded inside itself. The two parts of the sleeve taper to bottom holes fitted with pull loops. The double layer sleeve is fitted to ease fitting of the cover/stocking and is easily removed by pulling the loops. The two sleeves are made of the same textile material covered with a low friction coating.

Claims (15)

1. Mittel (11, 111) zum Anziehen von orthopädischen oder therapeu­ tischen Hilfsmitteln, beispielsweise Prothesenschaftn (35, 135) oder Stützstrümpfen, wobei
  • - das Mittel länglich ist mit zwei Enden und über ein betreffendes Gliedmaß gezogen werden kann,
  • - das Mittel wenigstens zwei aneinander liegende Hüllen (13, 14; 113, 114, 115) aufweist, nämlich eine innerste Hülle (13, 113) und eine äußerste Hülle (14, 114),
  • - die innerste Hülle in die äußerste Hülle gestülpt ist zum Anzie­ hen der Hilfsmittel,
  • - die innerste Hülle und die äußerste Hülle an einem ersten Ende (16) miteinander verbunden sind,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an einem zweiten Ende (19, 20; 119, 120,121) die innerste Hülle innerste Greifmittel (27; 127) aufweist und die äußerste Hülle einen äußersten Durchgang (24; 124) aufweist, wobei die innersten Greifmittel durch den äußersten Durchgang von außen erreichbar sind.1.
