Abstract
The Cold carbon dioxide jet has a liquid carbon dioxide line with valve to form crystals and an annular compressed air input. It has (in direction of flow) an expansion jet (3) to create dry ice particles, and a capillary tube with a conical end to create snow crystals. The compressed air channel and the capillary tube are concentric. The jet tube (4) and the outlet (8) are rectangular. A spiral flow of carbon dioxide snow is created.

Claims (1)
- 1. in Strömungsrichtung hintereinander zunächst eine Expansionsdüse (3) zur Erzeugung von Trockeneispartikeln und darauffolgend ein Kapillarrohr mit konischem Ende zur Erzeugung von Schneekristallen angeordnet ist.
- 2. der Kanal für die Druckluft und das Kapillarrohr konzentrisch verlaufen.
- 3. das Düsenrohr 4 und der Auslauf (8) rechteckig ausgebildet sind.
- 4. das Düsenrohr 4 so ausgebildet ist, daß eine spiralförmige Strömung des CO2-Schnees erzeugt wird.
- 5. der Auslauf (8) so ausgebildet ist, daß eine spiralförmige Strömung des CO2-Schnees und/oder des Mantelstrahls erzeugt wird.
- 6. die Kapillare (4) an ihrer äußeren Oberfläche so ausgebildet ist, daß eine spiralförmige Strömung des Mantelstrahls erzeugt wird.
