Abstract

A simple jig for setting the spacing up the uprights for a metal banister system has two telescopic sections each provided with a gripping slot to align the spacing the uprights. The shaped slots are secured onto the uprights using grub screws. The maximum extension of the jig is for a 150 mm spacing of the uprights. Claims (14)

1. Schweißlehre zur Herstellung von Geländern,
mit einem eine erste Klemmvorrichtung (2) aufweisenden Füh­ rungsteil (1) und einem im Führungsteil (1) verschiebbar ge­ führten, eine zweite Klemmvorrichtung (4) aufweisenden ge­ führten Teil (3),
wobei die erste (2) und die zweite Klemmvorrichtung (4) je­ weils eine im Querschnitt erste U-förmige Ausnehmung zur Auf­ nahme eines zu klemmenden Gegenstands aufweisen,
wobei die ersten U-förmigen Ausnehmungen jeweils eine erste Grundfläche (5) und parallel zueinander verlaufende Innen- (6) und Außenflächen (7) aufweisen.
