Die Erfindung betrifft eine Holzlasur. Die Holzlasur ist ein wasserbasierendes Reaktionsprodukt aus Sumpfkalk und Süssmolkepulver und wird auf das hobelglatte unbehandelte Holz vorzugsweise mit einem Pinsel aufgetragen und in das Holz einziehen gelassen.The invention relates to a wood stain. Die Holzlasur ist ein reines Naturprodukt ohne künstliche Zusätze. In einem offenen 120-Liter-PE-Deckelfass werden 45 Liter klares, salzarmes Leitungswasser von ca. 23°C vorgelegt und darin 35 Kilogramm Süssmolkepulver (ohne Zusätze) unter Rühren mit einem Holzstab aufgelöst. Anschließend werden 40 Kilogramm Sumpfkalk mit 26,4% Calziumhydroxid ebenfalls von ca. 23°C dazugegeben und gut durchgerührt. Der Sumpfkalk kann gekauft oder durch Löschen von 8 Kilogramm Branntkalk (Calciumoxid) in 32 Litern Leitungswasser hergestellt werden. Nachdem der Sumpfkalk dazugegeben wurde und gut durchgerührt wurde, wird das Gemisch stehen gelassen und nur jede halbe Stunde kurz umgerührt. Durch die in der Flüssigkeit jetzt stattfindenden chemischen Reaktionen erwärmt sich die Flüssigkeit ganz langsam (etwa 5 Grad pro Stunde), klärt sich auf -die weißen Calciumhydroxidteilchen des Sumpfkalkes reagieren mit dem Milchzucker des Süssmolkepulvers- und die Mischung nimmt allmählich einen dunklen Farbton an. Die chemischen Nebenreaktionen, die die schöne Färbung erzeugen, sind noch nicht genau geklärt. Nach ca. 4 Stunden ist die Höchsttemperatur der Chemischen Reaktion von ca. 50°C erreicht. Bei dieser Temperatur gerinnen die Proteine der Molke gerade noch nicht.
