Abstract

An animal feed receptacle (100) comprising:
- a base frame (T), and
- A shell (1) which is connected to the base frame (T) and a compartment (1v), a floor (11) which limits the compartment (1v) downwards, and a side wall (10) which contains the compartment ( 1v) bounded at the side either in whole or in part; wherein inside the compartment (1v) animal feed is to be received; characterized in that it comprises quick coupling/uncoupling means (2, 3) connected to the base frame (T) to connect the animal feed receiver (100) to another adjacent animal feed receiver (100).

Description

The present utility model application relates to an animal feed receiving device.

Prior art animal feed receptacles consist of a bowl into which feed is to be placed. The bowl can also be connected to a dispenser that takes the feed and dispenses it into the bowl when needed.

The term "feed" includes both solid food such as kibble and liquids such as water or milk.

If a user has several pets, it makes sense to use one or two appropriate bowls for each animal, one for solid food and one for liquid. The larger the number of pets, the more pet food receptacles the user needs to have in their home. These feed supplies tend to be scattered on the ground, creating a mess.

In addition, these devices are very light in weight, making them more prone to tipping or slipping in the event of light impact. If the device is tilted or pushed across the floor, feed will inevitably be spilled all over the floor. This experience is annoying and irritating for the user who inevitably has to clean and/or dry the floor.

The object of this invention is to develop an animal feed receptacle which can be stably connected to one or more animal feed receptacles to create an orderly structure which will not easily shift in the event of accidental impact, thereby reducing the likelihood of animal feed spillage and distribution the ground is reduced.

Another object of this invention is to develop a device for collecting animal feed that is inexpensive and easy to manufacture.

According to the invention, these objects are achieved with the features listed in the appended independent claim 1.

The animal feed receiver (100), d. H. the elements that make it up are preferably made of plastic.

3. c) a third method consists in connecting the two animal feed receivers (100) to each other by means of quick coupling/uncoupling means (2, 3) located on the lateral face (f3) of one and on the rear face (f2) of the other associate; in this case the sagittal axes (Z) of the two animal feed receiving devices (100) are at right angles to one another.

By increasing the number of pet food receptacles (100), a user can attach them together at will. Two examples are in and shown.

Before describing in detail the configuration of these quick-coupling/uncoupling means (2, 3), the two alternative configurations of the invention are presented below.

Referring to the 1 , 2 , 2A and 3 in the first embodiment of the animal feed receiving device (100) according to the invention, the shell (1) is closed with the side wall (10). In particular, the side wall (10) has a substantially rectangular plan shape with curved or beveled corners.

The base frame (T) consists of an all-round bottom cover that extends to the bottom of the side wall (10) of the shell (1).

The base frame (T) and the shell (1) are preferably made in one piece.

Alternatively, the base frame (T) and the shell (1) can also consist of two separate and interlocking parts. In case of a Damage to the base frame (T) or the bowl (1) could only replace one of the two parts and not the entire animal feed receiver (100).

In a preferred embodiment of the second embodiment of the animal feed receiving device (100), the shell (1) is not closed but has a side opening. In other words, the side wall (10) is not closed on itself, but has an open section which defines the opening mentioned above. The support body (6) also has an opening opposite the opening of the shell (1). The seat (60) and the compartment (1v) are connected to each other by a duct (c) which connects the two aforesaid openings.

The dispenser (4) intended for receiving and dispensing dog food comprises a passage (4p) cut into a side wall of the dispenser (4) at a lower edge of the dispenser (4).

The passage (4p) of the dispenser (4) is intended to face the compartment (1v) of the tray (1).

The dispensing means (5) consist in this case of a mobile partition (50) designed to close or not close the passage (4p). When the movable partition (50) closes the passage, it prevents the release of the croquettes from the dispenser (4), while when it does not close it, it allows the release of the croquettes from the dispenser (4), which then go into the compartment (1v) of the shell (1) flow.

The movable partition wall (50) preferably has a comb-shaped lower edge.

The other donor (4) in 5 has no movable partition (50) and, as mentioned above, is intended for liquid feed. This dispenser (4), intended for holding liquids, is also in 4 and 4A shown.

The liquid dispenser (4) in this case has a lower edge spaced from the bottom of the housing (60) so as to define a passage for the liquid food from the dispenser (4) into the compartment (1v) of the bowl (1). .

It is known that the liquid level in the liquid dispenser (4) falls due to the flow laws when the animal consumes the liquid in the compartment (1v), so that the liquid in the compartment (1v) remains constantly at the same level.

Preferably, the bottom of the seat (60) and the bottom of the channel (c) are inclined towards the compartment (1v) so that the feed coming out of the dispenser (4) falls out and flows into the bowl (1).

As in 4 As shown, the base frame (T) comprises an annular cuff which extends beneath both the shell (1) and the support body (6).

Here, too, the shell (1), the supporting body (6) and the base frame (T) are preferably made in one piece.

The quick coupling/decoupling means (2, 3) are described below in their preferred design.

In particular, the male means (2) comprises a slide in relief shaped to have at least one undercut, while the female means (3) comprises a recess with two axial openings and one restricted access opening.

The quick coupling/uncoupling means (2, 3) on both side faces (f3) are mirrored with respect to the sagittal axis (Z).

Preferably, the recess has a trapezoidal cross-sectional area with decreasing dimensions towards the constricted mouth and the relief slide has a trapezoidal cross-sectional area with increasing dimensions outwards.

In other words, the recess and the relief slide are interlocked and have matching cross sections.

It should be noted that the fact that the coupling/uncoupling means (2, 3) comprising male means (2) and female means (3) are juxtaposed and the fact that the quick coupling/uncoupling means (2 , 3) of the two side surfaces (f3) are arranged mirror-inverted to one another, offers an advantage with regard to the versatility of the animal feed receiving devices (100).

This versatility becomes particularly clear when two animal feed receptacles (100) have to be coupled with their sagittal axes (Z) at right angles to one another.

The animal feed receptacle (100) orthogonally connected to the rear (f2) of another animal feed receptacle (100) can be connected to the front (f1) on one side as well as the other. In other words, the rear animal feed storage device (100) can present both side faces (f3) indiscriminately to the rear side (f2) of the front animal feed storage device (100).

Although the accompanying figures show two or more animal feed receivers (100) of the same type connected together, it is also possible to connect two animal feed receivers of different types together, i.e. an animal feed receiver (100) of the first type (illustrated in Fig 1 ) and an animal feed receiver (100) of the second type (illustrated in 4 ) to connect to each other.

Equipping the animal feed receivers (100) with quick coupling/disconnecting means (2, 3) makes it possible to obtain a more or less extensive structure (depending on the number of animal feed receivers (100)) that is so neat and stable that it can be will not (or only minimally) move due to accidental impacts and will not tip over, preventing spilling and scattering of feed stored in the pans.

Numerous variations and changes of detail may be made to the present embodiments of the invention, which are within the scope of the invention as expressed by the appended claims.

For example, the dispenser (4) can consist of a conventional liquid dispenser (milk or water) instead of the box body. In this case the dispensing means (5) consists of a cock with a valve that can be moved manually or automatically.

Claims (12)

Animal feed storage device (100) comprising: - a base frame (T), and - a tray (1) connected to the base frame (T) and a compartment (1v), a floor (11) enclosing the compartment (1v) delimited downwards, and a side wall (10) which either completely or partially delimits the compartment (1v) at the side; wherein inside the compartment (1v) animal feed is to be received; characterized in that it comprises quick coupling/uncoupling means (2, 3) connected to the base frame (T) to connect the animal feed receiver (100) to another adjacent animal feed receiver (100). Animal feed receiving device (100) according to claim 1 comprising two or more quick connect/disconnect means (2,3) for connecting the animal feed receptacle (100) to two or more animal feed receptacles (100). Animal feed receiving device (100) according to claim 1 or 2 wherein the quick coupling/uncoupling means (2, 3) are shaped to: - allow vertical movement of the animal feed receptacle (100) relative to the adjacent animal feed receptacle (100); and - preventing horizontal movement and hence removal of the animal feed receptacle (100) from the adjacent animal feed receptacle (100). An animal feed receptacle (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the quick coupling/uncoupling means (2, 3) comprises male means and female means side by side; whereby: said male means (2) are intended to be connected to a receiving means (3) of the quick coupling/uncoupling means (2, 3) of the adjacent animal feed receiving device (100); the receiving means (3) are intended to be connected to a male means (2) of the quick coupling/uncoupling means (2, 3) of the adjacent animal feed receiving device (100). Animal feed receiving device (100) according to claim 4 wherein: the inserting means (2) comprises a relief slide shaped to have at least one undercut; the receiving means (3) has a recess with two axial openings and one restricted access opening. Animal feed receiving device (100) according to any one of Claims 1 until 5 , with a dispenser (4) designed to receive the fodder inside it and, if necessary, to dispense part of it into the compartment (1v) of the shell (1). Animal feed receiving device (100) according to claim 6 , wherein the dispenser (4) comprises a dispensing means (5) designed to be moved between: - an open arrangement in which the feed contained in the dispenser (4) freely flows out of the dispenser (4) into the compartment (1v) of the shell (1) can flow; and - a closed arrangement in which the feed is kept inside the dispenser (4). Animal feed receiving device (100) according to claim 7 comprising a supporting body (6) connected to the base frame (T) and having a seat (60) suitable for at least partially receiving the dispenser (4) in order to stably support it. Animal feed receiving device (100) according to claim 8 wherein the seat (60) of the supporting body (6) and the compartment (1v) of the shell (1) communicate with each other. An animal feed receptacle (100) according to any one of the preceding Claims 1 until 8th , wherein the shell (1) has at least one self-contained side wall (11) which delimits the compartment (1v) laterally. An animal feed receptacle (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the shell (1) and the base frame (T) are made in one piece. Animal feed receiving device (100) according to any one of Claims 8 until 10 , wherein the shell (1), the support body (6) and the base frame (T) are made in one piece.
