Description

The invention relates to a folding tub for transporting hunting prey or bulk material and a set with such a folding tub and a rear carrier.

Foldable tubs for transporting hunted prey or bulk material such as garden waste are known from practice. Such tubs usually have a bottom and flexible side walls and are usually formed from a water-impermeable material. Such folding tubs are used to be able to transport game without leaving sweat and dirt in the vehicle. In addition, the game or the hunted prey is protected by the folding tub, so that no additional dirt can get to the hunted prey, especially during transport.

In order to be able to insert the hunted prey into the folding tub, the folding tub is opened at its opening surface. In the case of the known folding tubs, however, it has been shown in practice that the folding tubs often collapse, so that it is more difficult to insert hunting prey. Usually, additional measures have to be taken to keep the opening area open for the insertion of the hunted prey.

The object of the invention is to provide a collapsible tub for transporting hunting booty or bulk material, which allows easy handling and in particular enables hunting booty to be inserted easily. Another object of the invention is to provide a set with such a folding tub.

According to the invention, this object is achieved with regard to the folding tub by the subject matter of claim 1 and with regard to the set by the subject matter of claim 8.

The invention is based on the idea of specifying a folding tub for the transport of hunting prey or bulk material, which has side walls and a bottom with a bottom surface. The side walls are made of a flexible material and have free upper edges that delimit an opening area. According to the invention, the opening area is larger than the bottom area.

The invention is described below for use in transporting hunting prey. In principle, however, it is also possible that the folding tub according to the invention is used to transport other things, in particular bulk goods, for example garden waste. This applies to all embodiments of the invention.

It has surprisingly been shown that in the case of a folding tub whose opening area is larger than the floor area, the folding tub also remains open when it is empty. A user can put the empty folding tub on the floor and open it, with the side walls not collapsing. Rather, the opening area remains open, so that hunting prey can simply be placed in the folding tub. The folding tub according to the invention is consequently characterized by simple handling.

Another advantage arises in connection with the use of additional containers in which the folding tub is used. Such containers can be, for example, rear carriers for the transport of hunting prey. The folding tub can be inserted into the container and the side walls can then be turned over around the edge of the container. Due to the opening area, which is larger than the base area, the side walls can easily be slipped around the container edge, so that here too access to the interior of the folding tub is facilitated.

In a variant of the invention, the side walls merge continuously and the upper edges of the side walls delimit a round, in particular circular, opening area. In this variant, the bottom surface is preferably round, in particular circular.

However, it is particularly preferred if four side walls are provided which enclose the bottom surface. The base area and the opening area are preferably essentially rectangular, the opening area being longer and wider than the base area. Specifically, the opening area can be at least 3 cm, in particular at least 4 cm, in particular at least 5 cm, and in each case at most 10 cm, in particular at most 8 cm, in particular at most 6 cm, longer and / or wider than the floor area. It has been shown that the advantage of the invention, according to which the folding tub remains open even when empty, is particularly effective when the opening area is both longer and wider than the base area.

In a preferred variant of the invention it is provided that the bottom surface and the opening surface have identical aspect ratios. The bottom surface and the side surface can also have a square shape. However, a non-square, rectangular shape of the bottom surface and the opening surface is preferred. In contrast, the side walls are preferably designed to be trapezoidal. Overall, the folding tub can have the shape of a truncated pyramid, the opening surface forming the base of the truncated pyramid.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the side edges have an upper edge in which a drawstring is arranged to close the opening area. The opening area can therefore be closed by means of the tension band. In this way, a hunt placed in the folding tub can be protected from external influences. As soon as the prey is placed in the folding tub, the folding tub can be closed or closed.
