Plastikmüll durch Behältnisse wie Flaschen, Trink- und Babyflaschen, Gläschen, Coffee-to-Go Becher, Tiegel, Vorratsgläser und Frischhaltebehälter stellt eine existenzielle Bedrohung für Umwelt und Gesundheit dar und wird als Umweltproblem wahrgenommen.
Umweltfreundliche und vor allem plastikfreie Verpackungslösungen von Lebensmitteln und Getränken sind wichtig, gewünscht und gefordert, aber nicht verfügbar. So werden in der Regel bei Lebensmittelbehältnissen jeglicher Art zumindest für den Verschluss Kunststoffe eingesetzt. Diese werden üblicherweise aus Polyethylen oder anderen Kunstoffen gefertigt.
Alternativ kommen beispielsweise bei Gläsern Schraubverschlüsse oder Kronkorken aus Metall mit einer eingeklebten Kunststoffdichtung zum Einsatz. Neuartige Ansätze mithilfe alternativer Materialien wie Bioplastik, Silikon oder Bambus-/Melaminverbundwerkstoffen führen indes nur zur Verlagerung, nicht aber Lösung des Problems.
Es soll eine kunststofffreie Lösung geschaffen werden mit einer rein mechanischen Verknüpfung der eingesetzten Materialien, wodurch auf den Einsatz synthetischer Bindemittel (zur Verbindung von Bauteilen mittels Adhäsions- und Kohäsionskräften) verzichtet werden kann. Auf der Unterseite ist das Inlay so abgerundet, dass es eine maximale Kontaktfläche mit der Innenkante z. B. eines Flaschenhalses (bzw. der Öffnung eines (Lebensmittel-)Behältnisses) bilden kann. Durch diese Anordnung ist bereits ein annähernd hundertprozentiger Verschluss von Flaschen (bzw. (Lebensmittel-)Behältnissen) gegeben. Das Inlay bzw. der Deckel wird durch das Einklemmen eines flexiblen Dichtungsrings im Deckel an seiner Position gehalten. Durch die Bohrung innerhalb des Schraubringes können Inlay und Dichtungsring durch den Anwender wieder einfach demontiert werden, indem durch einen leichten Druck der Deckel bzw. das Inlay aus der Bohrung/Öffnung und somit aus dem Schraubring heraus gedrückt wird. Durch die einfache Demontage kann das Verschlusssystem gereinigt und wiederverwendet werden, sowohl privat als auch gewerblich und industriell. Bei der Variante des geschlossenen Schraubringes gemäß Anspruch 7. erfolgt die Demontage des Deckels aus dem Schraubring durch Entfernen des Dichtungsringes, so dass der Deckel bzw. das Inlay ohne weiteres aus dem geschlossenen Schraubring herausgenommen werden kann.A further advantageous embodiment is given in claims 4) to 6).
