STATE OF THE ART

A therapy that has been practiced since antiquity, on the other hand, is extension, ie tension on the spine, which relieves the spinal column, temporarily frees stuck out leaks from it and supports regeneration of hardened intervertebral discs by absorbing water from the surrounding muscle tissue.
This was previously done manually by pulling loops around the extremities against brackets or corsets on the upper body, head or abdomen.

Therefore, additional aids were used, first heat cushions and later microwave radiators to relax the surrounding muscle tissue and increase the effect of the extension, as well as various processes of stretching and relaxation, which were individually reflected in different results. Automated programs and controls for this purpose have so far only proven themselves to a limited extent, while the electrically effected and regulated extension is now mostly standard, if only because of the fine control and reproducibility of the results.
What is still a hindrance is the often low sustainability of the extension effect, as well as the need to strap the patient in - which increases the labor-intensive set-up times for the treatment and reduces patient compliance.

TASK

It is therefore an object of the present invention to bring about the therapeutic effect of stretching without belting the patient.
In addition to the extension, i.e. the pull in the longitudinal direction of the body, which is easy and pulsating to use, it is the object of the invention to treat the leather and cervical spine with an oscillation - ie the horizontal rotational movement of the pelvis and head - and a rotation, ie a twist of the spine, as well as the tilting of the pelvis and head to the front and back to complete.

It is also an object of the present invention to obtain a diagnostic aid prior to the use of therapy, with which the restrictions on mobility and in particular possible pain points are automatically recorded and registered and taken into account during the therapy in order to avoid chronification of pain by the therapy.

SOLUTION

The stretching is achieved in that an extension bed is divided into several sectors that can move against one another, as is the case with treatment couches for chiropractors.
A belting of the patient is avoided by using cushion pads made of reteculated foams, into which the patient's body area sinks, and by the form fit between the patient's body and cushion, as well as the grip of the pad, an effective pull between the segments and thus the patient's body can be exercised.
The treatments are usually carried out in tiered storage, which is variable in height. The step positioning relieves nerves and vessels in the lumbar region.
Furthermore, a heating unit in the therapy support area can be used in all treatment programs: The body's own metabolism is stimulated by the heat treatment. The positive effect results from the fact that the oxygen transport as well as the absorption of nutrients and the disposal of breakdown products in the body are increased. For this purpose, the immune defense should be increased by increasing the temperature in the tissue.

The support for the area of the buttocks and head is designed to be electrically three-dimensionally movable as a mobility module in order to achieve an adjustable, wobbling movement (lengthways and crossways, as well as slightly tilting). This proved to be particularly relaxing for hardened parts of muscles such as the piriformis, which can painfully press on the sciatic nerve.

Mobility module and diagnosis and treatment program form a unit, with a diagnosis run of the mobility module determining the area in which the induced movement, in particular the extension, can take place without reaching the pain points during body movement. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Diagnosis and therapy is carried out via the mobility module, which depending on the program is used to determine the current pain symptoms and the treatment method individually tailored to the patient, without the patient having to be repositioned.

For this purpose, a diagnostic run is carried out with the patient on the couch. This runs through a predefined movement pattern, which is carried out by the mobility module in different strengths. Via a signal button, which the person to be treated holds in his hand, he reports to the system when pain occurs. The pain points adapted in this way are saved and automatically flow into the subsequent treatments.
In order not to activate the pain memory, it is necessary to avoid the adapted pain points during treatment. The determined values are therefore stored in the practice database and can be called up by the doctor and therapist. During the course of treatment, the diagnostic journey is carried out several times. In this way it can be specifically determined whether the pain symptoms have improved and the treatment is responding. New adapted pain points, which are later displayed by the patient via the signal button, are included in the treatment programs in order to optimize the course of therapy.
