Description

The present invention relates to a drawer insert, in particular for receiving cutlery, with a deep-drawn plastic body with at least one bowl-shaped receptacle.

The DE 20 2012 003 483 U1 discloses a cutlery insert with a plurality of upwardly open receptacles for cutlery, a non-slip insert being arranged on a floor. With such cutlery inserts, there is a desire that they adapt to a piece of furniture in a visually appealing manner, for example in a kitchen. The use of wood materials that have proven themselves optically and haptically is preferred.

The EP 3 491 971 A1 therefore proposes a drawer insert in which a frame made of a wood material is inserted, in which a receptacle made of plastic is inserted. The fixation of the holder on the frame made of wood material is comparatively complex.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a drawer insert which can be produced effectively and is designed to be visually appealing.

This object is achieved with a drawer insert with the features of claim 1. Preferred embodiments result from the subclaims.

In the drawer insert according to the invention, a deep-drawn plastic body with at least one bowl-shaped receptacle, in particular a plurality of receptacles, is used, in which a support is formed on at least one side, on which a decorative strip is arranged. As a result, the drawer insert can be better adapted to surrounding furniture in the view from above, since the view at least partially falls on the decorative strip and visually enhances the plastic body. In addition, the drawer insert is easy to manufacture because the loads can be absorbed by the one-piece deep-drawn plastic body.

The support on the plastic body is preferably formed all the way round, and the decorative strips are arranged in a frame shape, preferably firmly connected to one another to form a frame. This can avoid gaps between the decorative strips. The decorative strips can be made of a wood material or coated with a wood material. Alternatively, the decorative strips can also be made of plastic with a decortative surface, for example by printing on the surface.

Each support preferably has a flat support surface, with an upwardly projecting wall being arranged next to the support surface, which serves to align the decorative strip. In relation to a top view of the drawer insert, the wall can be arranged both on the inside of the support and on the outside. A depression is preferably formed between the wall and the support surface, so that a decorative strip can be placed on the support surface and covers the depression in the assembled position. This enables easy alignment of the decorative strip. The depression is preferably designed as a groove, the depth of the groove being greater than the width of the groove in the region of the bottom of the groove. As a result, the wall is connected to the support surface with a certain elasticity, so that shock loads can be better absorbed. For a particularly stable design of the drawer insert, a further support and a further decorative strip can be arranged on at least one partition between two receptacles. As a result, the decorative strips can not only be frame-shaped, but also grid-shaped, which leads to greater stability. To increase the stability, the decorative strips can be glued in whole or in part to the supports on the plastic body, so that the decorative strips bring about stabilization for the deep-drawn plastic body.
