Description

The invention relates to a table saw.

Due to the rotating saw blade, working on a table saw is always associated with a risk potential.

It is an object of the invention to increase the safety when working with a table saw.

According to the invention a table saw according to claim 1 is proposed, embodiments are disclosed in the subclaims and the description.

The table saw according to the invention 1 includes a saw blade 2 which is on a sawing frame 21 is mounted. A workpiece 7 which is on a work surface 3 is guided by the saw blade 2 sawed. During sawing, the saw blade is 2 in a working position, like in 1 is shown.

A sensor 4 is provided, is detected by the, when the workpiece assumes a predefined position. The position of the sensor can be determined by a sensor holder 41 be changed and so adjusted to an individual workpiece. Once the workpiece has been sawn completely, the sensor is activated by the workpiece. The sensor may in a simple embodiment be a switch which is switched by the workpiece itself from a state of OFF to a state ON.

Activation in turn sets an adjustment drive 6 in progress. The adjusting drive comprises an adjusting motor 61 as well as an adjusting gear 62 , The saw blade is on a sawing frame 21 held. The adjusting drive can be the sawing frame 21 shift and lower the saw blade below the working surface into the safety position.

Table saw, comprising a work surface (3) for receiving a workpiece (7) a saw blade (2) for sawing the workpiece (7) while the saw blade is in a working position, characterized in that the table saw (1) is arranged such that the Saw blade can assume a safety position in which it is located completely below the work surface (3). Table saw according to the preceding claim, characterized by an adjusting drive (6) for displacing the position of the saw blade (2) between the working position and the safety position. Table-top circular saw according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the adjusting drive (6) comprises an adjusting motor (61) and an adjusting mechanism (62), wherein the adjusting mechanism (62) is operatively connected to a sawing frame (21), wherein on the sawing frame the saw blade ( 2) is rotatably mounted. Table saw according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by a sensor for detecting a position information of the workpiece (3). Table saw according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the table saw is arranged to transfer the saw blade from the working position to the safety position as a function of the detected position information. Table saw after Claim 4 or 5 , characterized in that the sensor is held adjustably positionable by means of a sensor holder. Table saw according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the rotational movement of the saw blade is driven by means of a saw drive (5).
