Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit den Handknauf des Gelenkes komplett zu lösen (normales Rechtsgewinde des Knaufes, 7), so dass beide Rohrteile einzeln voneinander getrennt sind. Diese beiden Rohrteile können bei Nichtbenutzung in eine entsprechende Wandhalterung (6) gehängt werden. Das untere Ende des Rohres wird in den Rahmen des Fahrrades geführt und zwar anstelle des Sattels (Gesamtansicht 5). Der Sattel wird durch Öffnen des Schnellspanners einschließlich Sattelstütze entfernt und der untere Teil der Halterung wird in die Führung der Sattelstütze in den Rahmen eingeführt und dort mit Hilfe des Schnellspanners fixiert.
