Die Erfindung betrifft eine Salbe zur Behandlung des erblich bedingten Haarausfalls. Unter erblich bedingtem Haarausfall leidet ein erheblicher Anteil insbesondere der männlichen Bevölkerung. Diese Form des Haarausfalls wird in der Literatur auf eine erbliche Überempfindlichkeit der Haarfollikel gegen das männliche Hormon Testosteron bzw. die Stoffwechselvariante Dihydrotestosteron zurückgeführt und auch als androgenetische Alopezie bezeichnet. Es wird angenommen, dass durch die ererbte Überempfindlichkeit die Wachstumsphase des Haars so stark verkürzt ist, dass das Haar kaum noch sichtbar hervortritt.
