Abstract

The utility model protection should refer to the following combination: 3 in 1 combination (baby / child) bed consisting of: 1. a loft bed (in the version of the baby bed with a lockable child safety gate that can be folded upwards), 2. an extendable drawer underneath (in the version of the baby cot as a changing station, later also usable as a table) + as well as an extendable drawer for various utensils, and 3. a storage option in the form of a chest of drawers / a cupboard and an extension set for converting the combi bed (see page III).

Description of the construction / invention

• 1. einem Hochbett mit verschließbarem und nach oben umklappbaren Kinderschutzgitter,
• 2. einer darunter liegenden ausfahrbaren Schubladen-Wickel-Station sowie einer ebenfalls ausfahrbaren Schublade für diverse Utensilien, und
• 3. einem unter den Schubladen liegenden Schiebetüren-Schrank.

The construction / invention is a:
(3 in 1) combi-cot / crib consisting of:

• 1. a loft bed with a lockable and foldable child safety screen,
• 2. an underlying retractable drawer-winding station and a likewise extendable drawer for various utensils, and
• 3. a sliding door cupboard under the drawers.

The problem underlying the invention is that there is still no functional combination baby / child bed that includes / combines both a bed and a (retractable) changing station and a cabinet or dresser and the " growing with the child ", d. h., which is suitable for both babies and (small) children / can be used.

This problem results in the following solution:

• – Nachhaltigkeit, da das Bett „mit dem Kind mitwächst” und man damit längere Zeit keine Neuanschaffungen für das Kinderzimmer machen braucht (das Bett ist nicht nur auf Babys, sondern auch auf (Klein-)Kinder ausgelegt und kann ggfs. sogar auch für Erwachsene mit Platzproblemen in der Wohnung auskonstruiert werden, die Schubladen-Wickel-Station kann auch als Schreibtisch genutzt werden usw.)

Special Features / Description / Labeling of the combo bed

• • The bed can be adapted to any existing mattress size and changing mat on the market (adaptation by redesign => relative to the size, principle of the bed remains)
• • The child safety net is transported with ball-bearing castors via a specially made running module (page I, number 4) and is equipped with a child-resistant closure.
• • The drawers (eg the winding drawer) are extensively extendable by means of roller pull-out guides from the company Fährig and are designed for a load of 50 kg.
• • Later (as the child grows older), the sidewalls, the safety grille and the back wall can be replaced with a specially developed set according to the principle "the bed grows with the child" (see page III). The principle of the extension set is: The safety grid is dismantled, the side walls are lowered and a side wall gets a ladder (to get into the loft bed). The bed sides are secured with appropriate wooden slats. The original drawer-winding station can be used as a desk.
