Description

The problem:

Tablet case for the storage of tablets for outdoor use as well as in dirty and harsh environments. The problem with tablets is that, with their thickness of only a few millimeters, they are almost unsuitable for many outdoor applications and thus also for many applications in harsh environments. The fact that they are quite sensitive to shocks through their glass display and the built-in technology, a fall from a low height can damage them even to un usability. Also, in some applications, it is necessary to house an additional LED in the case to enhance additional illumination and thus improve camera recording quality in dark environments. Furthermore, handling is only possible via the thumb as soon as the tablet is held on the left and right to use it portable.

State of the art:

Unfortunately I found in my research only inadequate problem solutions. On the one hand, these are the 1 mm silicone coatings available on the market and, on the other hand, high quality leather cases. Both are unsuitable for rough and almost continuous portable use. My patent, utility and design search also yielded only the following solutions: WO2011123713 This is an example for inserting a table into a case. However, again without any protection of the internal tablet from bumps, as well WO2012016281 ; an exemplary system for Einzelfinger-, as well as: US4126805 for multi-finger loop systems. From this, however, no protection for the tablet is possible. Furthermore, a firm grip by simply pushing the hands is not possible, the device is still prone to fall. None of the products found allow contactless loading of the internal tablet.

Troubleshooting:

The solution to the problem is the case designed by me with a back-screwed handle (number 1 ), as well as an integration of Led technology (number 2 ), which via a rear-mounted button (number 4 ) and powered by the tablet and thus the opening through the camera (number 5 ) taken pictures with additional light. A loading and updating of the internal tablet is via a back-mounted micro USB slot (number 6 ) possible.

Lower shell: In the lower shell are installed: the Micro USB socket ( 6 ), the flat key ( 4 ), as well as the non-contact charging by the built-in coils and the electronic circuit (number 7 ). The tablet is placed inside through, on all sides arranged, L-shaped foam (number 8th ) secured against slipping and at the same time protected from impact.
