The affected vehicles must not only be equipped with the necessary devices and units for exhaust aftertreatment, but also have an additional resource tank for the reducing agent in addition to the fuel tank. Especially on tugs, tractors and on smaller and medium-sized construction machinery, the available space is usually very tight. Frequently, the fuel tank is arranged on one side of the vehicle in a frontward in the direction of travel and is filled via the resource inlet or a filler neck by means of a tap. This area of the fuel tank is often provided with an integrated tread surface equipped with slip-resistant ribbing for safety, or it receives a mounted tread cover that the driver or maintenance personnel can use to, for example, clean the windows or change the wiper blades. Due to the limited space available for vehicles of small and medium size and a number of other requirements, the arrangement of fuel tank and reducing agent tank regularly leads to design challenges. So the reducing agent tank must be able to be mounted safely. At the same time, the reducing agent tank should not be placed in a high temperature area because that would lead to accelerated decomposition of the urea solution.
Due to the exhaust gas aftertreatment, the reducing agent tank must generally be refilled every time or every second refueling of the fuel tank. In order to make the refilling of the container is not unnecessarily complicated, it is required that the filler neck of both tanks on the same side of the vehicle, preferably close to each other, are arranged.
The first resource container serves to receive a fuel, such as diesel, while the second resource container is provided for a further fuel component. The second resource container is arranged laterally next to the fuel tank and assembled with this into a unit. On the side opposite the second resource tank side of the fuel tank, a tread module with treads is provided. Both tanks each have a filler neck, through which the respective tank can be filled with the operating fluid or the fuel component.
Restrictive package requirements and tight packaging often do not allow for a nested solution. Therefore, the reducing agent tank is often at another location in the vehicle, eg. B. on the other side of the vehicle housed. In order not to have to refuel the vehicle from two sides, one provides the reducing agent container with a long nozzle, a hose, a pipe or the like, whose end is designed as a filler neck and is attached in the vicinity of the filler neck of the fuel tank. However, such solutions lag behind the expectations of the operators and users and are often perceived as unsightly emergency solutions.
From practice, a cover for a resource container assembly is known, by means of which the equipment inlets can be spatially combined in one component. The cover has two openings, which are inserted as fuel inlets of the fuel tank and the reducing agent container formed as operating inlets, so that the filler neck protrude from the openings of the cover and the wider area of the filler neck is covered. Regardless of the present resource container form can thus achieve a visually appealing result, because the top of the cover can be designed in any way and covered due to technical conditions unattractive area of the vehicle. At the same time, however, the degree of freedom of the arrangement of the resource containers is very limited by design. Thus, the two resource containers, in particular their filler neck, must be arranged adjacent to each other, and the filler neck must be accurately positioned for assembly, which is associated with some effort.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to allow the filling of two resource containers in a technically efficient and reliable manner in spatial proximity to each other, with a large degree of freedom in the design of the resource containers and their placement in the vehicle should be guaranteed. At the same time, the possibility should be given of optically enhancing the vehicle optically and simplifying assembly.
This object is achieved in that at least one of the first and the second opening has an extending from the cover housing wall at least in one direction extending filler neck, which is designed as a connection for a resource line.
The features according to the invention make it possible to optimally arrange both operating fluid containers with a high degree of freedom in the vehicle. Above all, this benefits the ever-increasing requirements of the packaging, since the containers do not have to be placed directly next to one another. Thus, from the one resource container, a service line such as a hose, a pipe or the like can be led to the terminal disposed in the cover housing wall and easily attached thereto. The other of the openings may be connected to the resource inlet of the corresponding equipment container by e.g. B. a filler neck of the resource container is received in the opening through which the resource container can be filled. In the same way a resource line can be connected directly to the opening or fixed at this. This makes it possible to combine the resource inlets of two resource containers spatially efficient, without the resource containers themselves must be placed close to each other. The adjoining the openings equipment lines, filler neck and the like can be covered visually appealing.
The cover may be placed at a position optimal for refueling on the vehicle and connected to the resource containers via service lines. However, it has proven to be particularly advantageous to arrange the cover so that it at least partially covers at least one of the resource containers. In addition, the cover of the invention offers a stable arrangement of the filler neck for the resource containers, so that damage to equipment lines and the like can be efficiently avoided.
It has been found to be particularly advantageous if the connection is designed as a releasable plug-in coupling or a hose nozzle. Thus, the inside end of the filler neck, to which the service line is connected, pass directly into a spout-like section. This can be formed on the filler neck or attached separately. The connection can also be designed as a neck or the like, to which can be fixed by means known per se, such as a hose clamp or the like, a resource line, such as a hose, a pipe, a neck or the like. Also, the sleeve-like portion ribs, locking and / or clamping elements have, so that a resource line can be clamped and / or clamped to the terminal.
Furthermore, the cover according to the invention can be formed across functions by being designed as a step cover or the like, wherein the connection of the opposite side of the cover housing wall is at least partially formed as a slip-resistant tread surface.
A particularly economical embodiment of the invention provides that the cover is made of plastic. Suitable plastics are, for example, thermoplastics such as polyethylene (PE), crosslinked polyethylene (XPE), polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA) or the like. With regard to the manufacturing process, it has proven to be advantageous if the cover is designed as a blown or rotationally molded plastic part. In the same way, the cover can be an injection-molded part or, depending on requirements, also a sheet metal construction.
According to the invention, the filler neck can be a separate component attached to the cover, which is positively, positively and / or materially connected to the cover. Thus, the filler neck can be fixed by welding, gluing, screwing or the like on the cover. According to the invention, the filler neck can also be formed integrally with the cover, so that the filler neck is formed integrally with the cover. Preferably, the entire cover is provided as a one-piece component. For example, the filler neck in the production of the cover in a plastic molding process can be formed directly on the cover. This eliminates manufacturing costs for a separate component. In addition, by reducing the individual parts further savings in disposition and storage can be achieved.
In order to obtain a high degree of flexibility with respect to the arrangement of the resource containers, a further embodiment of the invention provides that the other of the openings of the cover has a filler neck. This can be designed in the same way as the first filler neck.
In principle, it is possible to form the cover housing wall single-walled. As a sheet metal construction or as an injection molded part made of plastic, this is possible at low production costs. In a further development of the inventive concept, the cover housing wall can also be multi-walled, which increases the load capacity and load capacity of the cover. Preferably, the cover at least partially comprises a double wall profile with at least one cavity formed at least partially between the walls of the double wall. The cover can be produced economically as a blown or rotationally molded plastic part. In development of this invention, the cover housing wall is at least partially filled with foam, whereby the stability of the component is increased.
2-Komponenten-Polyurethan-Systeme in Frage. The foaming of the component can be done after its production. For example, 2-component polyurethane systems come into consideration. Alternatively, in particular during the production of the component in the rotational process, it is possible to process materials which can be made foamable by addition of physical or chemical blowing agents in the rotary tool which, in addition to the material forming the component wall, either simultaneously ("one shot") or consecutively ("two shot ": first the material for the component wall, then the foamable material) - are introduced into the tool.
The object underlying the invention is further achieved by a resource container system comprising a first resource container and a second resource container, wherein a cover according to the invention is provided, the first opening to the resource inlet of the first resource container and the second opening to the resource inlet of the second resource container connectable is.
According to the invention, an inner side of the cover housing wall having the connection can be adapted to the contour of at least one of the equipment container such that the cover is held in a form-fitting manner at least on the at least one equipment container when the operating medium inlet of the equipment container is connected to the corresponding opening of the cover. Thus, the cover can be used efficiently to cover not only the resource line, but also at least partially at least one of the resource containers, the cover sits particularly firmly on the resource container.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the cover may be formed such that it at least partially covers the first and the second resource container and positioned relative to each other. Thus, the inside can be used as a receptacle for a section of each of the be formed at least partially adapted to the outer shape of the respective portion of the corresponding resource container with respect to the inner mold that the cover is positively held on the resource container when it is placed on the resource container. In this way, at least partial areas of the operating fluid containers can be positioned efficiently relative to one another. This proves to be particularly advantageous when complex and asymmetrical container structures with narrow and unstable sections are present in the area of the equipment inlets, since these areas can be efficiently reinforced by the cover.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the cover may at least partially form an inner wall of a resource container and / or be formed integrally with one of the resource container, wherein the port is accessible from the outside of the resource container.
