Description

Efficient pest control (rat mice, etc.) in agricultural organic farms or food producing establishments when use of poison is questionable or undesirable.

The present invention is concerned with a trap for catching and killing rats and mice.

Conventional traps all have the disadvantage that the rats have to be baited to lure them into the tight trap. What turns out to be difficult and less promising in the crafty animals If one then gets lucky and starts one, the problem arises of the professional and painless killing of the animal.

According to the present invention, the said principle of baiting and trapping is abandoned but the trap is simply placed in the path of the pests in affected areas.

In addition, the trap is not like conventional traps long with narrow inlet and trap floor, but kept very wide and short. On a trap floor is completely omitted in order not to change the natural floor and counteract a trait shyness. Since the trap is very wide but short and both fall flaps 1 ; open the impression of a dead end is not given but optically only a wide pass.
