Abstract
Actuation button for an "acceptance refused" function of e-mails in commercially available PC mail programs (as a function that can be programmed into these by providers of standard mail programs) characterized in that the recipient of electronic mails within his e-mail management program has the option of sending this (unwanted) mail back to the sender unopened by means of the buttons "clickable" This receives automatically generated information that the recipient has "refused to accept this mail" and has "not taken note of its content".
Description
In the traditional postal service of paper letters, there is the possibility to refuse to accept a document and to notify the sender that they have not and do not want to be aware of the contents of the document. This possibility of feedback is an elementary part of human communication, as it informs the sender of a message about the addressee's reaction to his message.
The rapid spread of the Internet has had a lasting effect on the "correspondence", the way we communicate with each other "by letter". Many, if not most, of all personal and business letters are sent via e-mail today via e-mail via the Internet. This is faster, often easier and more convenient than by post. However, e-mails, unlike paper postal letters, are not delivered by postman in our mailbox or handed over personally (registered mail), but these are delivered on our PC. While we can open and read e-mails, or even open and ignore or delete them, there is no way to refuse to accept e-mails and return them unopened to the sender, as is possible in postal mail. As a result, the recipient of an unwanted message can not "defend" against its delivery and give this to the recipient by returning the unopened message to understand. Also, a corresponding feedback from the recipient by means of a personal reply e-mail does not guarantee the sender that the content of his e-mail was not noted and is therefore no substitute for the reject button.
The "acceptance-denied" button should now create this possibility and thus eliminate a fundamental disadvantage of e-mail traffic compared to the postal service.
The implementation of this function can be achieved by programming a corresponding function within an existing mail program (eg as a so-called program update) or can be included in the development of a new mail program.
- - After clicking on the Reject button for an e-mail previously marked by the user, it is technically impossible to open this e-mail and find out its contents. The e-mail will be electronically disabled or deleted.
- - The sender receives the message via a standard, "machine-created" e-mail that the recipient has refused to accept the mail sent and that he has not been informed of the content of the mail. Depending on the technical possibility, this notification e-mail in the attachment contains the original e-mail or a clear proof of identity of the relevant e-mail.
