Description
The present invention relates to a device for improving the quality of drinking and / or service water. In particular, the present invention relates to such a device, which is designed for arrangement in a line or a line section.
In addition to flow filters various forms of devices for water treatment to ensure a given water quality are known, which occur today preferably by a UV treatment with or without the addition of chlorine, fluorine, ozone or similar chemicals in mixed forms. A disadvantage of these exemplified water treatment devices of the energy needs and / or consumption of chemicals that affect a natural composition of water as a food in any case.
Especially in pipe systems in the Federal Republic of Germany is preferably used with UV radiation, chlorine or ozone treated drinking water. This water is virtually dead immediately after irradiation and thus represents an excellent breeding ground for bacteria, etc. It is also known that drinking water is often over a longer period in pipes or pipe sections. A special danger of a resulting bacteriological load up to a contamination thereby represent plastic pipes or other sections consisting of plastics, in which drinking water stands over a longer period of time. They provide a very good breeding ground for bacteria and germs of all kinds. In recent years, for example, outbreaks of the so-called legionnaires' disease have become known from bathing establishments, whereby germs in temperate sections of the drinking or fresh water pipes could explode explosively and unpredictably. Arrangements of filters, in particular against Legionella, have proven largely ineffective at or in these germ breeding places. In residential buildings, due to the current spread of low-temperature technology, additional sources of danger occur because water is only heated to a maximum of 60 ° C here.

The disadvantage of the known filter is, in particular, that the effective surface is only relatively small. In addition, the formation of channels can be observed especially in filters with available as granules or in powdered form activated carbon, which are quickly saturated with dirt particles and then can break, whereby the filter result is greatly impaired. Also, after prolonged use, the filter is re-rinsed Expect pollutants, so that the quality of the filtering in the previously known activated carbon filters must be described as unsatisfactory overall. In addition, it is possible with the previous filters only with great effort to filter out radioactivity, heavy metals, hormones and drug residues.
Zusammenfassung der ErfindungSummary of the invention

Shungite is a natural mineral with a crystal lattice based on carbon. The carbon in a proportion of 20 to 95% forms together with silicon in a proportion of 5 to 60%, the main component of this mineral. In addition, shungite contains a variety of other ingredients, in particular aluminum with up to 4%, iron with up to 3.5%, magnesium with up to 3.5%, potassium with up to 1.5%, sulfur with up to 1, 2%, calcium up to 0.58% and phosphorus up to 0.34%, and other minerals. Shungite is characterized by the fact that no shares of lead or cadmium and no radioactive constituents are included.
In particular, shungite is characterized by a longer-lasting mineral release, wherein the carbon contained in the shungite in the form of fullerenes counteracts microbial contamination of the rock material over a longer period of time.
Bentonite, which contains up to 95% montmorillonite, is a mineral with an unusually high water absorption and swelling capacity. It also has an enormously large and still negatively charged surface, which leads to an incomparably high absorption capacity for pollutants of all kinds. Bentonite absorbs heavy metals and aflatoxins, natural poisons that are excreted by mold, it reduces the number of bacteria, such as the staphylococci, can absorb drug residues and is even able to bind radioactive elements.
Shungite and bentonite are preferably used in the present invention in fired form.
Activated carbon retains undesirable natural odors and flavors (eg, humic acids) as well as a variety of hydrocarbons, sparingly degradable hydrogen halides, halogenated ethylene compounds, a variety of pesticides, manganese compounds, and other suspended solids. Even particulate lead can be filtered out. Remains of oxidants such as ozone or chlorine, which are the water in the water plant to germ kill buried, are thereby removed. However, the effect of activated carbon filtration is not limited to the Adsorption of organic micropollutants. Suspended and turbid substances are removed from the water by purely mechanical filtering. Activated carbon filters are universally applicable and can also be regenerated and reactivated.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the material with a different normal potential than silver consists essentially of a stainless steel, in particular of stainless steel 1.4571. By stainless steel straight drinking water is changed even in a device according to the invention taste only insignificantly, since it is largely corrosion resistant in water at pH values of about 6.5 to about 9 and usual use temperatures between about 6 ° and about 70 ° C. Even when combined with silver, there is no impairment of taste, discoloration or the like in drinking water. To set special properties, such. B. a particular potential difference, the stainless steel as a carrier, other materials such. As Cr, Ni, V, etc. are added.

The activated carbon knit, fabric or mesh can be reactivated and reused up to 25 times.
The knitted fabrics, woven fabrics and braids according to the invention are preferably arranged in a line or a line section. They can be run as nested or as two separate components. This creates a sufficiently large active surface even on a very short distance. By training in the form of a knit / braid / fabric, the active surface can be increased. As a result, the antibacterial effect is very effectively increased or seen trained on small lengths sufficiently strong. In addition, even with partial emptying of the line or the line section is always a part of the device according to the invention with the water or residual water in contact, so that there is always sufficient prevention of germination and disinfecting effect is present.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the diameter of the device is selected such that, depending on the power requirement (m 3 / h) and task is smaller / larger than the free diameter of the line or the line section. A significant advantage of a device according to the invention constructed according to this embodiment is also in the easy, simple installation. The device according to the invention is thus to be completed in a simple and quickly feasible manner in a line or a line section without significant interference with its mechanical stability or even weakening damage.
Thus, a device according to the invention has a small outer length and is particularly suitable as a retrofit. It can thus also be used directly after the flow meter (cold water) main water inlet, so that all the water of the hot and cold water supply of an entire building flows through the device according to the invention. Another application is a low-temperature furnace in the hot water treatment.
However, the device according to the invention can also be designed as a line piece. Thus are for the inventive device very diverse applications, such. B. in front of a main water line inlet, in front of a shower hose to a mixer tap, on or with a pervator to use in an air conditioner open. The defined and slow-running processes in the device according to the invention require, if at all, only very long maintenance intervals. With a suitable design of the device according to the invention, the life of a hose, a seal, a sieve, etc. can be easily achieved, so that no separate maintenance intervals are to be monitored. In addition to a long service life, a device according to the invention can also be installed quickly and without problems due to its flexibility. External circuits by power sources, etc. are advantageously not required as z. B. the provision of buffers against electrolytic decomposition of water with the risk of oxyhydrogen gas formation.
- 8. Keine Kanalbildung wie beim Granulat oder Pulver
- 9. Keine Verkeimung
- 1. A very broad spectrum of different substances from low to high molecular weight are adsorbed (in the range of μg / l and mg / l). Especially the adsorption of molecules of low molecular weight is excellent compared to the conventional adsorbents. Also drug residues and radioactive elements can be bound.
- 2. Huge specific and geometric surface: 1,000-2,500 m 2 / g
- 3. The internal active surface area per gram is about 100 times that of conventional activated carbon (granules or powder). This is the reason for the extremely high adsorption capacity.
- 4. Very high adsorption and desorption rates
- 5. Very high flow rate up to 500 m / h and above
- 6. The larger internal active surface of the activated carbon space-saving, ie with five times smaller volume can be built.
- 7. Filter medium can not be flushed out, structural cohesion without binder.
- 8. No channeling as granules or powder
- 9. No germs
The filter according to the invention can also be used as a blood filter or for filtering other liquids. Another field of application is the filtering of room air. There, a filter arrangement according to the invention can replace the hitherto known filter with an insert made of an activated carbon impregnated foam. In contrast to the foam inserts, the filter insert of the arrangement described here can be regenerated or reactivated and thus does not form a problem waste during disposal.
