Claims (7)

1. Vorrichtung zur Identifizierung von Personen auf Grundlage der Handgeometrie, mit einer Auflagefläche zum Auflegen einer Hand, einer Kamera zur Aufnahme der auf der Aufla­ gefläche aufliegenden Hand, einer Datenverarbeitungseinrich­ tung, die dazu vorbereitet ist, die von der Kamera aufgenom­ menen Bilddaten einer Hand aufzunehmen, Handgeometriedaten zu ermitteln und diese mit in die Vorrichtung eingelesenen oder vorab in einer Datenbank gespeicherten, personenspezi­ fischen Handgeometriedaten zu vergleichen und auf Grundlage dessen als Ergebnis eine positive oder negative Identifizie­ rung zu signalisieren, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Auflagefläche durch einen Bildschirm (8) gebildet wird und dass die Datenverarbeitungseinrichtung (2) dazu vorbereitet ist, den Bildschirm so zu steuern, dass er bei der Aufnahme der Bilddaten einer auf den Bildschirm aufgelegten Hand als gleichmäßiger Hintergrund leuchtet.1.
