Nutenprofile für die Fassung von Glasscheiben und Platten aller Art gibt es für den Aluminiumsystembau in allen erdenklichen Varianten. Ausgeführt werden diese durch rechteckige Nuten welche mit elastischen Dichtungen aufgefüllt werden um unterschiedliche Plattendicken aufnehmen zu können. Da die Nuten mit den Dichtungsprofilen sehr viel Platz einnehmen, kann ein Profil immer nur eine Plattenaufhahmenut haben.
