Kinetische Lichteffekte werden meist durch Reflexion oder Transmission an rotierenden geometrischen Objekten oder Mustern erzeugt. Ein andersartiger, weil chaotischer und weicherer Effekt wird beim Durchstrahlen einer bewegten Wasseroberfläche in einer ,Wasserlampe' erzeugt (&Rgr;&Ogr;&Tgr;/&Igr;&Tgr;&Ogr;&Ogr;/&Ogr;&Ogr;&Igr;&THgr;&THgr;).Kinetic light effects are usually created by reflection or transmission from rotating geometric objects or patterns. Der auf den Reflektor von unten gerichtete Luftstrom drückt gegen die Folienmembran und kompensiert deren Gewicht, wozu die Stärke des Luftstroms entsprechen reguliert wird. Da dieser Zustand labil ist und außerdem der Luftstrom beim Umströmen des Reflektors teilweise turbulent wird, wird die Membran in unregelmäßige wellenartige Bewegung versetzt. Die Intensität der fluktuierenden Bewegung des Reflektors lässt sich durch Veränderung der Steifigkeit der Membran, deren Gewicht und insbesondere über die Intensität des Luftstroms einstellen. Entsprechend wird die Zeitskala der chaotischen Fluktuationen des auf die Umgebung reflektierten Lichtes verändert. Das von einer oder mehreren Lampen auf den Reflektor gerichtete Licht wird auf der sich kontinuierlich verformenden Oberfläche der Reflektorfolie reflektiert und erzeugt chaotisch fluktuierende Helligkeitsvariationen auf den umliegenden Oberflächen, Wänden oder einem transparentem Schirm.An embodiment according to claims 1, 3 and 12 is described here.
