Die Neuerung betrifft eine Flachdichtung, insbesondere Zylinderkopfdichtung fur Verbrennungskraftmaschinen.The innovation concerns a flat gasket, in particular cylinder head gaskets for internal combustion engines.
Der US-A 5,601,291 ist eine metallische Flachdichtung zu entnehmen, die mehrere mit Sicken versehene Funktionslagen beinhaltet, die mit mehreren nebeneinander liegenden Durchgangsöffhungen, sowie Schrauben-durchgangslöchern und Kanälen für den Flüssigkeitsdurchtritt versehen ist. Im Bereich der Durchgangsöffhungen sind sogenannte Stopperelemente vorgesehen, die an unterschiedlichen Stellen der Funktionslagen plaziert sein können. Die Funktionslagen sollen aus einem nicht rostenden Stahl (SUS 301) mit einer Dicke zwischen 0,2 und 0,25 mm bestehen, während das Stopperelement aus einem nicht rostenden Stahl (SUS 304) bestehen soll, das eine Dicke von 0,01 bis 0,1 mm aufweist.
