Elektrischer Durchlauferhitzer mit einer Rückwand, einem Kanal (8) zur Führung des Wassers samt Anschlüssen (2, 3) für Kalt- und Warmwasser und einer Heizwendel (9), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in der Rückwand (4) und einer mit dieser verbundenen Abdeckung (5) an den einander anliegenden Flächen einander entsprechende Vertiefungen (6, 7) eingearbeitet sind, die gemeinsam den zur Führung des zu erwärmenden Wassers dienenden Kanal bilden, der mit den Anschlüssen (2, 3) verbunden ist, wobei die Heizwendel (9) in einem dieser beiden Teile (4, 5) eingebettet ist.1.
