Claims (11)

1. Anzeigevorrichtung
  • - mit einer eine flache Vorderseite aufweisenden lichtleitenden Scheibe (4, 17, 18),
  • - die auf ihrer Vorder- und/oder Rückseite eine Vielzahl von lichtbrechenden Bereichen (23) aufweist,
  • - mit wenigstens einem Kantenbereich der lichtlei­ tenden Scheibe, der optisch neutral gestaltet ist und als seitliche Lichteinleitzone (21) dient,
  • - mit einer Beleuchtungsquelle, die ein in die Lichteinleitzone einstrahlbares Licht erzeugt,
  • - und mit einem Gehäuse, in das die lichtleitende Scheibe eingebaut ist und das wenigstens einen Rahmen aufweist, der die Beleuchtungsquelle nach außen ab­ schirmt,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Beleuchtungsquelle eine Kette von lichtemittierenden Dioden (LEDs 16) ist, die benachbart zu der Lichtein­ leitzone (21) angeordnet sind.1. Display device
