Abstract

A folding pallet container has a steel construction with a support base of hollow section steel with a cover plate and with ground supports of U-shaped metal brackets with a large surface area. The corners of the pallet are fitted with L-shaped brackets to support hinged sides. The sides have hollow section frames with sheet material covers and are erected or folded with a simple pull and fold action with pivot studs located in slots, with guide pins running on the curved edges of the L-shaped brackets and with locking catches to secure the erected setting. The folded pallets occupy a minimum of space inside a larger container. The wide support brackets spread the load for laden containers inside a large (sea) container.

Claims (1)

1. Faltbehälter zum Versand von industriellen Erzeugnissen, insbesondere Blech- und Montageteilen, für den Transport in Seecontainern, gekennzeichnet durch
  • a) Stapelfüße am Behälterboden, die so angeordnet sind, daß eine gleichmäßige Gewichtsverteilung auf dem Containerboden entsteht, und die aus U-Profilen und Winkelprofilen an den Behälterfüßen bestehen,
  • b) einen Grundrahmen aus Rechteckrohren mit Eckversteifungen und mit den Rechteckrohren und den Winkelprofilen verschweißtem Bodenblech,
  • c) verformte und geprägte Stapel- und Halteecken der Faltbehälter in L-Form, die die Lager stellen und Zentrierungen für die Seitenwände bilden und die Stapelfähigkeit der Behälter gewährleisten, mit Bohrungen zum Verschrauben der oberen beiden Seitenwände, und mit Prägungen für Anschläge zum Vorzentrieren der Seitenwände sowie mit einem Langloch für eine Vertikalbewegung der Scharniere,
  • d) obere, klappbare Seitenwände, bestehend aus einem verschweißten Rohrrahmen, einem Füllblech für den Rahmen mit einer mittigen Trapezsicke zur zusätzlichen Versteifung des Stapelrahmens, und einer Verriegelung an den oberen Seiten­ wänden mit jeweils einer Arretierungsbohrung und mit einem Winkelflacheisen, das die untere Seitenwand formschlüssig zur Behälteraußenseite festhält, ferner mit zwei in die Steherrohre eingeschweißten Rastbolzen, die die Seitenwand beim Hochheben auf der Kurve der Stapelecke anheben und formschlüssig in Halterasten der Stapelecke einrasten,
  • e) untere, klappbare Seitenwände, die nach dem Aufstellen der beiden oberen Seitenwände angehoben und mittels verschiebbarer Verriegelungsbolzen arretiert werden, wobei die Scharniere der Seitenwände in Bohrungen laufen und den Aufbau der Faltpalette spielfrei über die Stapelecken auf dem Grundrahmen festhalten,
  • f) einen Rahmen der unteren Seitenwände, der aus zusammengeschweißten Rechteckrohren und einem aufgesetzten Winkelprofil besteht, wobei die Scharnierbolzen baugleich zu den oberen Seitenwänden ausgebildet und befestigt sind,
  • g) ein Füllblech für die unteren Seitenwände ist an den Enden des umgekanteten Bleches verschweißt und weist eine Trapezsicke auf, die an der Behälteraußenseite mit dem oberen Winkelrahmen und dem unten liegenden Rechteckrohr verschweißt ist, wobei diese Sicke eine zusätzliche Versteifung des Stapelrahmens bildet und
  • h) Verriegelungen an den unteren Seitenwänden aus Rundstahl greifen in die Bohrungen der rechtwinklig dazu angeordneten oberen Seitenwand ein, wobei durch das Stufenraster der Riegel in geschlossener Stellung gehalten wird, ohne daß er sich durch Vibrationen lösen kann.

  • d) upper, foldable side walls, consisting of a welded tubular frame, a filler plate for the frame with a central trapezoidal bead for additional stiffening of the stacking frame, and a lock on the upper side walls, each with a locking hole and with an angled flat iron that form-fitting the lower side wall holds on to the outside of the container, also with two locking bolts welded into the upright tubes, which lift the side wall when it is lifted on the curve of the stacking corner and engage in a form-fitting manner in the retaining catches of the stacking corner,

  • f) a frame of the lower side walls, which consists of welded rectangular tubes and an attached angle profile, the hinge bolts being constructed and fastened identically to the upper side walls,
  • g) a filler plate for the lower side walls is welded to the ends of the folded sheet and has a trapezoidal bead which is welded to the outside of the container with the upper angle frame and the rectangular tube below, this bead forming an additional stiffening of the stack frame and
  • h) Locks on the lower side walls made of round steel engage in the bores of the upper side wall arranged at right angles thereto, the latch being held in the closed position by the step grid without it being able to be released by vibrations.
