Vaginaltampon mit einem Grundkörper aus Schaumstoff, wobei der Grundkörper (2) verbreitert, abgeflacht, seitlich abgerundet ausgebildet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Grundkörper (2) wenigstens eine in Längsrichtung verlaufende rinnenartige Vertiefung (9) in seiner Oberfläche (5) aufweist, die sich im Bereich des inneren Endes (4) trichterförmig auf­ weitet.1.
