Claims (7)

1. hand programmer for programming treatment devices used to correct hearing,
with connecting means for connection to the treatment device,
and with an electronic circuit for programming the sound parameters of the treatment device, and with input means for influencing the circuit, the device being designed as a hand-held device,
characterized in that the hand programmer has connection means to a telephone network or has a built-in telephone,
and has a circuit which influences the circuit for programming the treatment device as a function of control signals received by telephone,
wherein the hand programmer can be switched between two different types of operation, the first type of operation as patient mode enables the influencing of at least one programmable parameter of the treatment device,
and wherein the second type of treatment enables the influencing of other parameters.
2. Hand programmer according to claim 1, characterized by a tone generator for generating predetermined Fre frequencies in the ranges of about 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1,000 Hz, 2,000 Hz and 4,000 Hz.
