Description

KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL

PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.

The invention relates to a frame shoe, in which the insole on its The margin split in the middle and one split flap for its connection is bent at right angles with the upper leather and the frame.

The invention is characterized, as can be seen from the drawing, in that the non-bent slit flap of the insole α is cut off so short that it protrudes only a little beyond the part b bent at right angles. As a result, because the shorter part does not give way, the upper leather adapts to exactly the same and is given a very specific shape on the sole and maintains this shape even when the footwear is worn. As a result of this device, however, the seam connecting the outsole to the frame r can also be attached away from the edge of the sole and relatively close to the seam connected to the upper leather with the insole and the frame without the upper leather being hit by the needle. As a result, since the folded-up split flap also allows the frame and the upper leather to be securely fastened to the insole by the cylinder sewing machine by means of an ordinary straight needle, the durability of the footwear is considerably increased and production is simplified.
