Claims (4)

1. Defibrillator mit einem Herzrhythmusanalysator zur Erfassung des Herzrhythmus und zur Erzeugung eines eine Herzrhythmusstörung charakterisierenden Herzrhythmusstörungssignals, mit einem elektrisch aktivierbaren Defibrillationssignalgenerator zur Erzeugung eines Defibrillationssignals und mit einer über ein erstes Kabel an den Defibrillationssignalgenerator angeschlossenen, im Herzen implantierten Defibrillationselektrode, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:
  • a) über ein zweites Kabel ist mit einem im Herzen (30) implantierten Ultraschall-Sende- und -Empfangselement (7) ein Geschwindigkeitsanalysator (6) zur Erzeugung eines die Geschwindigkeit von Blutzellen im Herzen (30) charakterisierenden Geschwindigkeitssignals unter Ausnutzung des Dopplereffekts verbunden,
  • b) an diesem Geschwindigkeitsanalysator (6) ist eine Vergleichsvorrichtung (8) zum Vergleichen des Geschwindigkeitssignals mit einem vorbestimmten Referenzsignal und zur Erzeugung eines den Kreislaufzustand charakterisierenden Vergleichsignals angeschlossen und
  • c) mit dem Herzrhythmusanalysator (1), der Vergleichsvorrichtung (8) und dem Defibrillationssignalgenerator (3) ist eine Aktivierungsvorrichtung (2) gekoppelt zur Auswertung des Herzrhythmusstörungssignals und des Vergleichsignals und zur Aktivierung des Defibrillationssignalgenerators (3) in Abhängigkeit vom Auswertungsergebnis.
