Claims (5)

1. Entkopplungselement für Schwingungen in Abgasleitungen von Brennkraftmaschinen, mit einem Paar axial voneinander beabstandeter, durch ein flexibles, vorzugsweise wenigstens längs eines axialen Abschnitts (2) balgartig gewellten Verbindungselementes (1) miteinander verbundener Rohranschlussenden, und einem innerhalb des flexiblen Verbindungselementes koaxial in Abstand angeordneten rohrförmigen Wärmeschutzelement (12) zum Schutz des flexiblen Verbindungselementes gegen heisse, durch das Entkopplungselement strömende Abgase, wobei sich das Wärmeschutzelement von einem Montagebereich nahe einem aufstromseitigen Ende, an dem das Wärmeschutzelement fest mit dem Entkopplungselement verbunden ist, frei in das flexible Verbindungselement erstreckt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Wärmeschutzelement (12) einen Abgaskatalysator mit einem von den Abgasen durchströmbaren Katalysatorkörper (13) aus einem Katalysatormantel enthält.1.
