Vorrichtung zur maschinenlesbaren Markierung von Stückgut, mit der auf das Stückgut ein Markierungsfeld in Form einer aus einer Vielzahl von Matrixpunkten gebildeten Punktma­ trix aufgebracht wird, indem die Oberfläche des Stückgutes an den Matrixpunkten entsprechend einem vorbestimmbaren Markierungscode jeweils mit aus einer Vertiefung gebildeten Markierung versehen wird oder die Stückgutober­ fläche unverändert gelassen wird, gekennzeichnet durch einen Fließlochformer zur Formung der Markierungsvertie­ fungen (11) an den Matrixpunkten (20).1.
