In Fig. 1 sind die Transporteinrichtung 2 mit zu bearbeitenden Chipkartenroh­ lingen sowie der Kontaktierturm 1, welcher sich zunächst in Ausgangsposition befindet, dargestellt. Durch das Übergabemittel 4 werden die zu bearbeitenden Chipkartenrohlinge, welche mittels der Transporteinrichtung 2 neben den Kontaktierturm 1 transportiert worden sind, in dessen erste Ebene, die Arbeitseinheit 1.1 eingeführt, wobei gleichzeitig die sich in der Arbeitseinheit 1.1 befindenden und bereits bearbeiteten Chipkarten 1.A-1.I von der Arbeitsein­ heit 1.1 der Transporteinrichtung 3 zugeführt werden. Diese Übergabe ist in Fig. 2 dargestellt. Sofort nach Bestückung der Arbeitseinheit 1.1 mit zu bearbeitenden Chipkartenrohlingen beginnt deren Kontaktierung. Gleichzeitig werden auf der Transporteinrichtung 2 schrittweise weitere zu bearbeitende Rohlinge neben den Kontaktierturm 1 befördert. Kurz bevor die nächsten neun Rohlinge neben den Kontaktierturm 1 befördert sind, wird der Kontaktierturm um eine Position nach unten getaktet, so dass diese neun Rohlinge durch das Übergabemittel 4 der Arbeitseinheit 1.2 zugeführt und die sich in der Arbeitsein­ heit 1.2 befindenden bereits bearbeiteten Chipkarten der zweiten Transportein­ richtung 3 übergeben werden. Diese Übergabe ist in Fig. 3 dargestellt. Auf diese Weise wird der gesamte Kontaktierturm 1 ebenenweise bestückt und und schrittweise nach unten getaktet, bis - wie in Fig. 4 dargestellt - auch die Arbeitseinheit 1.9 mit Rohlingen bestückt ist. Während des beschriebenen Bestückungsablaufes werden die Chipkartenrohlinge im Kontaktierturm 1 bearbeitet. Für das hier dargestellte Beispiel ergibt sich eine maximale Bearbei­ tungsdauer pro Chipkarte von 9 . 9 = 81 Zeiteinheiten, wobei eine Zeiteinheit die Dauer eines Transporttaktes der Transporteinrichtungen ist.In Fig. 1, the transport device 2 with chip card to be processed succeed and the contact tower 1 , which is initially in the starting position.
