Abstract

The camera mouse has a housing (1) enclosing a battery-operated printed circuit camera (4), with a downwards facing objective lens (5) for providing an image of written words which are illuminated by an integrated light source (6). The image information is transmitted via a radio link to a standard television receiver for displaying an enlarged image of the written words on the television screen.

Description

The present invention relates to a housing camera according to the preamble of the claim 1 for enlarged display of reading or other objects underneath.

People with poor eyesight rely on reading aids such as glasses and magnifying glasses. These optical devices only allow the exact and to a certain extent Fatigue-free viewing of newspapers, for example. Where glasses no longer read enough, a magnifying glass must be kept over the reading. The magnifying glass distorted by incidence of light and must always be kept at a constant distance. Wherever a person's magnifying glass is no longer sufficient for reading or viewing, is on otherwise independent reading is no longer possible.

The object of the present invention is therefore an electronic reading aid to construct the generic type so that the use of bad eyesight People easily and without special knowledge is possible.

This object is achieved by the part of claim 1 mentioned features solved.

A circuit board camera with an integrated, mounted in a computer mouse-like housing Lighting, hereinafter referred to as "cameramouse", is about a newspaper article placed. The "camera mouse" is via a cable or a radio transmission with the TV connected. So the reader can see the greatly enlarged words and sentences on the Read TV. By tracking the "camera mouse" is reading longer articles fatigue-free possible.

An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides the problem-free use of the "Cameramaus" by poor-sighted people as a visual aid for reading reading.

Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are in the subclaims characterized.

An embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings explained.

Bezugspunkte 1 bis 6 einen schematischen Ausschnitt der "Cameramaus".Reference points 1 to 6 show a schematic section of the "camera mouse".

The "camera mouse" shown in the drawing in a schematic partial section consists of the housing 1 , the integrated circuit board camera 4 with the lens 5 directed downwards, the lighting 6 , the battery 2 and the radio transmission 3 .
