Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a dental preparation according to the in the preamble of Claim 1 specified features.
The dentist has various options for anchoring filling materials in the teeth Options available. State of the art is that one is based on macromechanical Retention elements, such as grooves and pens, are omitted for the healthy To protect tooth structure, but for this purpose micromechanical composite mechanisms, in the sense adhesion, preferably applied. For anchoring plastic or ceramic Workpieces in the teeth use so-called enamel and dentine adhesives. she enable the effective conditioning of dental hard tissue, which is necessary to a to create a permanent bond to the workpiece. Enamel and dentine adhesives are included several system components are required to complete the complex combination of dental hard Enable workpiece. State of the art is the offer of so-called "One bottle "preparations that offer all the necessary system components in one bottle are necessary the above To achieve Verbund. A previous conditioning of the Tooth surfaces with different acids are still used as an additional step carried out. Here one agrees more and more on the use of phosphoric acid than the only conditioning agent for all dental hard substances, although long-term experience with this preparation, especially on the vital dentin. The phosphoric acid completely exposes the dentin openings and allows everyone to penetrate possible substances in the dentine with the direct connection to the tooth nerve. In addition to the Application of adhesives to the hard tooth substance is their importance in the Manufacture of composite mechanisms between ceramic composite also state of the art Technology.
For the conditioning of ceramic workpieces, the previous application of Preparations containing hydrogen fluoride are absolutely necessary.
If such a question is dealt with intraorally on the patient, this means that Extension of the treatment concept by several steps, on the one hand, to the association to ensure the workpiece tooth and on the other hand to the workpiece plastic.
Dentin adhesives that are commonly used have the following disadvantages:
You effectively condition and prepare the enamel and dentin surface To create a permanent bond, ceramic workpieces are not able to be pretreated so that the adhesive bonding mechanisms achieved are equivalent to those that can be achieved with the conditioning of preparations containing hydrogen fluoride.
Preparations that are used to condition the tooth surfaces with phosphoric acid thus at least two steps.
Preparations that condition the tooth surfaces with phosphoric acid open the dentinal tubules and open the way to the tooth nerve. It occurs frequently Sensitivities that are problematic to deal with.
-
If ceramic workpieces are also conditioned, the practitioner has only one concept available that enables the best adhesion values, which is at least three steps:
Step 1: Conditioning the tooth hard substances with phosphoric acid
Step 2: conditioning the ceramic with hydrogen fluoride
Step 3: Conditioning the hard tooth substances with a dentine adhesive
(Step 4: Conditioning the ceramic with a silane solution).
The object of the invention is to eliminate these disadvantages and thus the patient and to give the practitioner a cost-effective, quick and long-term opportunity with a universal dentine adhesive.
This object is achieved by a means with the features mentioned in claim 1 solved.
folgenden weiteren Vorteilen:
The advantages achieved with this invention consist in particular in that with a single dentin adhesive, effective conditioning can be achieved not only of hard tooth substances, but also of other workpieces usually used in dentistry. Multi-step procedures are reduced combined with the following further advantages:
-
Own investigations with the above-mentioned preparation show that the dentin surface is pretreated differently than with phosphoric acid. Not only are the dentinal tubules not opened, they are even filled with a crystalline complex. This precipitation occurs due to the biological reaction between the calcium ions of the dentin or the enamel with the fluoride ions of the adhesive to be used. The resulting calcium fluoride compounds are not only able to enrich the surface with fluoride, but also to block out the tubules against the effects of various noxious agents.
The formation of these CaF compounds can be changed by the time of exposure so that there are still enough micromechanical retention points to create the effective bond. The addition of other substances (e.g. the addition of phosphoric acid) can also directly influence the formation of these compounds. - 2. The resulting precipitates are thus able to effectively protect sensitive tooth necks to treat.
With the application o. G. Dentine adhesives become the hard tooth substances in one step and ceramic workpieces effectively conditioned.
Lengthy, cumbersome and costly procedures no longer have to be carried out become.
Various embodiments of the invention are described in more detail below.
At the current stage of development, i. H. without changing the usual adhesive systems the conditioning of the hard substances (restoration material, enamel, dentin, Cement) first performed with a dentine adhesive containing hydrogen fluoride.
Before this step, the technique of absolute drainage should be intraoral. H. the Application of rubber dam to be carried out to etch the To effectively prevent mucous membranes. Then you usually use one used adhesive system and a necessary according to the prior art Silane preparation.
By changing the composition of today's adhesive systems, i.e. H. by the direct addition of hydrogen fluoride can maintain the reduced system component are optimized by ceramic conditioning and thus by increasing the Longevity of the restoration.
Is the area of work not only due to dental materials, such as metal surfaces, Ceramics or plastics limited, but by biological materials such as Example by dentin, the use of a conventional one is recommended Melt conditioning agent on the latter surface before application of the preparation containing hydrogen fluoride. The associated reduction in massive Calcium fluoride crystals appearing on the surface increase the subsequent adhesive bond to the material used.
