Claims (1)

Temperatursensoren finden im täglichen Leben und der Arbeitswelt vielfach Anwendung. Die weitaus meisten dieser Geräte folgen lediglich dem aktuellen Temperaturverlauf und lassen retrospektiv keine Aussage darüber zu, ob eine bestimmte Temperatur zuvor überschritten wurde. Hierfür gibt es auf dem Prinzip der Wärmeausdehnung beruhende Minima-Maxima-Thermometer und strombetriebene elektronische Schaltungen. Die letztgenannten Geräte sind für die Dokumentation der Überschreitung einer vorgegebenen Solltemperatur nicht immer verwendbar, da sie für Einmalmessungen zu teuer, sterisch aufwendig, oder wegen ihrem Quecksilbergehalt nur eingeschränkt verwendungsfähig sind. Außerdem sind die genannten Meßgeräte für Dokumentationszwecke ungeeignet, da sie ohne aufwendige Zusatzmaßnahmen (z. B. Verblombung) leicht rückstellbar sind.
Das Patent beschreibt und erhebt Anspruch auf einen in der Beschreibung gegebenen Temperatursensor, der auf Überschreitung einer Solltemperatur mit einem irreversiblen, dauerhaften Farbumschlag reagiert. Der erfindungsgemäße Temperatursensor kann als Pflaster auf eine hitzeverderbliche Ware aufgeklebt werden und fungiert während Lagerung und Transport der Ware als ein Temperatursiegel. Der Endverbraucher kann an dem vorzugsweise auf der Verpackung angebrachten Temperatursiegel anhand der Farbe feststellen, ob die innenliegende Ware hitzegeschädigt ist.
Bei den erfindungsgemäß genannten Temperatursiegeln kann die Art des Farbwechsels und die Umschlagtemperatur gewählt werden.
Der Patentanspruch erstreckt sich auf den Gegenstand der Erfindung, seine Konstruktion und seine Einsatzmöglichkeiten.
