Abstract
Description
Die Dirinpur-Spezial-Otoplastiken (DSO) sind Otoplastiken aus Acryl oder Photoplast für Im- Ohr (IdO), Modul und Hinter-dem-Ohr (HdO)-Hörgeräte. Das Besondere daran ist: Sie sind perforiert und mit leichten Rillen. Die neue Technik eröffnet die Möglichkeit, auch solchen hörgeschädigten Menschen zu helfen, die starke Verluste der HörFähigkeit in tiefen Frequenzbereichen aufweisen, denen aber wegen "feuchter Ohren", also wegen einer starken Schweißentwicklung im Gehörgang, zuvor keine taugliche Form der Besserung zur Verfügung stand. Bisher konnte man nur bei einem schwachen bis mittleren Grad von Schwerhörigkeit, soweit nur Hochtonverluste auftraten, helfend einschreiten. Dies geschah durch die sogenannte offene Versorgung. Dabei wird gewährleistet, daß die entstehende Feuchtigkeit nach außen abgeleitet wird, um so die Verstopfung der Schallaustrittsöffnung zu vermeiden. Als Mittel der offenen Versorgung dienen in der Regel entweder die Verlängerung des Schallschlauches unter Verzicht auf eine Otoplastik oder das Anbringen großer Belüftungsbohrungen in die Otoplastik. In beiden Fällen ist es unmöglich, große Hörschwächen oder besonder Verluste im Tieftonbereich befriedigend auszugleichen, da unvermeidlich Rückkopplungen entstehen. Durch die DS-Otoplastik wird dieses Problem gelöst. Rückkopplungen werden verhindert. Die Feuchtigkeit, die die Haut produziert, wird u. a. durch die außen an der Belüftungsbohrung angebrachten Rillen zusammengeführt und durch die Perforation nach innen in die Otoplastiken/Hohlschalen abgeleitet. Sie kann täglich oder nach Bedarf durch leichtes Schütteln oder Ausschlagen entfernt werden.
