Description
The invention relates to the use of polymer compositions tongues for the production of thermally expandable dispersi onsschäum, the polymers in the form of their ethylene oxide free aqueous polymer dispersions or redisper in water geable polymer powder can be used.
Thermally expandable dispersion foams become Ferti used foam wallpaper. Be in the state of the art for the production of foam wallpaper foamable polyvinyl chloride Plastisols or aqueous polymer dispersions are recommended, which in addition to the polymeric binder, azo compounds for example azodicarbonamide, or Mi filled with propellant beads to build up the foam structure included.
From EP-A 614954 (US-A 5543207), for example, Be coating agent for the production of foam wallpaper described which bind PVC plastisol or do not crosslink bare (meth) acrylate-butadiene copolymer latices contain and as Blowing agents contain microbeads with a polyvinylidene shell that are filled with low-boiling hydrocarbons.
In der EP-A 651033 (US-A 5356683, US-A 5360826) werden schäum bare Beschichtungsmittel-Zusammensetzungen beschrieben, welche als Bindemittel vernetzbare Acrylat-N-Methylolacrylamid- Copolymerlatices enthalten und als Treibmittel die oben be schriebenen Mikroperlen enthalten. In EP-A 651033 (US-A 5356683, US-A 5360826) foams bare coating compositions described, which Acrylate-N-methylolacrylamide crosslinkable as a binder Contain copolymer latices and be the blowing agent above contain written microbeads.
A 564712 relates to structure pastes for the production of structured foam coatings of wallpaper, being as Binder ethylene vinyl acetate latices and as blowing agents Microbeads are used.

A disadvantage of the above, after the emulsion polymer Onsverfahren prepared, copolymer latices is their tendency for dark discoloration of the polymer foams after long storage. Another disadvantage of use is that Before using two different aqueous dispersions Polymer dispersion and the dispersion of microbeads position of the foam dispersion are mixed together have to.
There was therefore the task of polymer compositions for Ver to provide which does not discolor the polymer lead foams. Another job was to water free polymer compositions for the production of polymer to provide foaming, using as a dry mix the microbeads can be processed.
Surprisingly, it was found that the discoloration of the Po polymer foams, by avoiding ethylene oxide units emulsifiers in the manufacture of the polymers, can be prevented.
