Abstract

The device receives an updated nautical chart in a ship, or a map in an airplane. The bridge crew enters the scale, i.e. meter or feet. A sonar or a radio navigation arrangement compares in a computer, whether data of a drive calculation agree with the map data. If an accident or collision threatens, an alarm is triggered by the computer to notify the bridge crew. The computer controls the auto-pilot to avoid obstacles.

Description

It happens again and again that ships on shallows or land that planes crash into mountains. This is particularly the case in fog or at night.

It wouldn't happen if that position of the ship / plane would always be known. Therefore sea or maps are inserted into a reader sets and their data on sonar and radio direction finder fend with the data of the respective ship and flight tool position compared. An accident or col lision, an alarm siren howls, the team can take over the steering, or it is from the computer, on the card reader, sounder and direction finder data passed such a course to the car pilots given that a collision is avoided.

Das Alarmsignal hört nach der Kursoptimierung auf.The alarm signal stops after course optimization.

Schiffs- und Flugverkehr werden viel sicherer.Shipping and air traffic are becoming much safer.

It is, of course, a prerequisite that always the latest Nautical and land maps and light and radio bearing directory nisse are on board. These can be from a central put on microfilm annually or by essential Changes are also made available more often become.

The card reader can be of various scales and different depths (heights) information (meters, feet) be put.

With difficult navigation (near the country, river trips) there the card reader also uses the sounder-tested tie the expected journey by computer voice loud and clear for the bridge crew. Of the Rowers can then set up their course.

If available, a helps almost horizontally on the respective course forward-facing underwater radar when navigating difficult waters. It also helps to align yourself with the respective course radar in flight navigation.

The card reader can also use the depths or free Flight heights for the expected trip / flight in ge check the time and give the alarm in time. There by avoiding further collisions.

Claims (2)

1. A nautical chart is inserted into a reader for ships and a map is updated for airplanes. The bridge crew scans the scale (meters, feet).
  • 1.1 The sonar and radio direction finder are used to compare whether the data from the trip calculation and the data measured from the front match the map data.
  • 1.2 If an accident or collision threatens, the computer triggers an alarm and the bridge crew is made aware of it.
  • 1.3 The computer can also automatically act on the control pilot and avoid the obstacle determined.
  • 1.4 The flight altitude or the water depth for the journey ahead can also be called out loud.
2. Vorteile
2. Advantages
  • 2.1 The card reader increases security.
  • 2.2 Navigation becomes easier.
  • 2.3 Vehicles equipped with the card reader are likely to receive cheaper insurance premiums.
  • 2.4 The devices are there anyway except for the computer. Its additional costs are low.
