Abstract

Durch die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel wird der Durchfluß unmittelbar stromabwärts von der unteren Stirnseite des Wickelfiltereinsatzes nun besser und gleichmäßiger in viele kleine Druckmittelströme verteilt. Insgesamt wird die Strömungsgeschwindigkeit in diesem Bereich niedriger, da nun die gesamte zur Verfügung stehende Ringfläche möglichst gleichmäßig für den Durchfluß ausgenutzt wird. Die Kraft der Durchflußströme im Bereich der Umlenkzone in dem Wasserspeicherraum ist nun viel geringer, so daß die Wasserabscheidung weniger gestört wird und damit auf der Reinseite weniger Wassertröpfchen mitgerissen werden. Die Wasserabscheidung wird somit gerade bei großen Durchflußströmen erheblich verbessert. Zudem kann dadurch die Höhe des Wasserspeicherraumes in axialer Richtung kleiner ausgeführt werden, ohne die Funktion der Wasserabscheidung zu gefährden, so daß insgesamt eine kompaktere Bauweise des Flüssigkeitsfilters möglich ist.
