Abstract
The invention relates to a vehicle with at least one pressurized gas container used as a vehicle tank to hold a compressed gaseous fuel for driving the vehicle, in particular natural gas or an H 2 O 2 -rich gas, with at least one inflow opening which can be closed gas-tight by a valve for the tanker gaseous fuel. Here, a heat sink is arranged in the compressed gas container.
Description
The operational practice for refueling natural gas vehicles shows that during the Fueling process the temperature of the fueled natural gas in the vehicle tank in an uncontrolled manner increases. After completion of the refueling process, the temperature is equalized with the reverse Exercise that usually leads to the tank of the natural gas vehicle being permitted fills, but is not full, as described by Meyer u. a. in gwf Gas / Erdgas, 138 (1997). Of the Level is also dependent on seasonal influences. An underfilling of the tank limits the range of action of natural gas vehicles unnecessarily and is therefore an obstacle for the spread of natural gas vehicles, which would be desirable for ecological reasons. By increasing the operating pressure of the natural gas filling station and extending the Tanking time of more than three minutes can be addressed by the problem of underfilling. For reasons of economy, however, natural gas vehicles should be completed in the shortest possible time be refueled without operating the natural gas filling station with safety-critical pressures need to practice. In order to achieve this goal, the development of today's must Technology to be considered.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic diagram of a natural gas filling station according to the prior art (Meyer, supra).
In Fig. 1 the gas storage 1 of the gas filling station 10 is shown from the natural gas through a duct 3 in the vehicle to be refueled container 2 of the natural gas vehicle flows. The gas storage 1 of the natural gas filling station is large compared to the vehicle container 2 .
A detailed representation with valves, petrol pump etc. is omitted in the schematic diagram. During the refueling process, the temperature in the gas storage 1 of the natural gas filling station may be regarded as constant, in contrast to the vehicle container 2 . There, the temperature of the refueled natural gas rises considerably and reaches the maximum temperature when the pressure is equalized with the gas storage at the natural gas filling station. Assuming that an evacuated vehicle container is refueled, the maximum temperature results from:
T2' = χT1 (1)
T 2 '= χT 1 (1)

χ = Isentropenexponent,
T1 = Temperatur des Erdgases in der Tankstelle in K.with: T 2 '= temperature of the natural gas in the vehicle container after (') refueling in K,
χ = isentropic exponent,
T 1 = temperature of the natural gas in the petrol station in K.
After the refueling process has ended, the refueled natural gas releases its compression heat to the environment via the wall surfaces 2 'of the vehicle container. In order to fill the vehicle container in accordance with the specifications of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), the fueled natural gas must give off the heat of compression ΔQ.

With the specification of a tank time, the heat flow Q must be extracted from the natural gas so that the container can be filled completely
The types of vehicle tanks for natural gas vehicles have changed from steel tanks to ver Bund containers developed up to pure plastic containers. The thermal continuity of Composite and pure plastic containers are much worse than steel containers. There Composite and pure plastic containers are very light and will have high strength the future belongs to these containers.
Furthermore, there are also the thermodynamic foundations for a flow-optimized one Refueling process in Meyer, s. o., described.
Hauptsatz
für geschlossene Systeme angewendet
The first main clause for closed systems is applied to the natural gas filling station and vehicle container system according to FIG. 1
dQ + dW = dU (4)dQ + dW = dU (4)
During the refueling process, there is a constant mass of natural gas in the natural gas filling station and vehicle tank system. The refueling process is quasi adiabatic (dQ = 0) and no work (dW = 0) is transported across the system boundary. This means that the change in internal energy during the refueling process is zero (dU / dt = 0) and the sum of the internal energy in the system is constant (ΣU = U 1 + U 2 = const.). With the definition of the internal energy U = mc v T it follows that the temperature in the system must be the same before and after the refueling process. This presupposes that it is before and after the refueling equilibrium. Within the short refueling time, with the refueling technology common today, however, no equilibrium state can be reached in the vehicle container at the end of the refueling process, which is why the refueling process must be optimized in terms of flow.
Der vorübergehend einzustellende höhere Befülldruck wird bei diesem Verfahren mittels eines mathematischen Modells, das den Zusammenhang zwischen Masse und Druck des Gases in Abhängigkeit von der Temperatur repräsentiert, ermittelt, indem bestimmte Teilmengen der Füllung in den Druckbehälter eingefüllt werden und der dadurch jeweils entstehende Druck gemessen wird.EP 0653585 describes a method and a device for carrying it out known, in which the most complete possible filling of a pressure vessel is achieved is that this container temporarily to an above the allowable filling pressure lying pressure is filled. This pressure is such that, after cooling, a filled gas at ambient temperature the desired filling pressure is reached. Of the In this process, the higher filling pressure to be set temporarily is determined by means of a mathematical model that shows the relationship between mass and pressure of the gas represented as a function of temperature, determined by certain subsets the filling into the pressure vessel and the resultant Pressure is measured.
The disadvantage here is that the gas is at a significantly higher than the target filling pressure lying pressure must be compressed.
Based on these theoretical considerations, the object of the invention is To create devices and methods with which to be structurally simple and inexpensive the vehicle containers the heat generated during filling is removed can, so that overfilling and underfilling of the vehicle container are excluded and the Vehicle containers can still be filled quickly, in particular quasi continuously.
This task is fundamentally accomplished by a heat sink provided in the vehicle container solved, a heat pipe being provided on the vehicle side, and in ei In terms of process engineering, the second aspect is a fluidic optimization of the tank front ganges is created. The aforementioned optimizations in turn require driving constructive changes on the tool side and on the other hand at the petrol station.
According to the first alternative, a heat pipe extends into the vehicle container.
The heat pipe is able to absorb large heat flows from the tanked and therefore warm Conduct natural gas in the vehicle tank to the environment or transfer it to a cooling medium.
The heat pipe is used to thermostate the vehicle container. The during the tank Process in the vehicle container heat can be directly from the heat pipe Vehicle containers are derived.
The basic procedural idea of the optimized refueling process is one Pressure equalization between the gas storage of the natural gas filling station and the vehicle tank and then the natural gas, which is refueled in the vehicle container, and is therefore warm in a closed circuit between the gas storage of the natural gas filling station and the vehicle pump around the container. The pumping process has the effect of a heat sink in the Vehicle container.
Die beiden Lösungsalternativen werden nun anhand der schematisierten Zeichnungen erläutert, in der:The two alternative solutions are now explained using the schematic drawings, in the:
Fig. 1 schematisch eine Erdgastankstelle mit dem Stand der Technik zeigt; Fig. 1 shows schematically a natural gas filling station with the prior art;
Fig. 2 schematisch einen Fahrzeugbehälter mit Wärmerohr zeigt; und Fig. 2 shows schematically a vehicle container with a heat pipe; and
Fig. 3 shows schematically a natural gas filling station with a closed circuit for pumping around the natural gas.
In Fig. 2 the tank 12 to be refueled is shown with inflow opening 15 and heat pipe 20 according to the first alternative solution.
The heat pipe 20 is a bulk pipe with a heating zone 21 and a cooling zone 22 , in which there is preferably a two-phase working medium. The heat pipe is preferably provided at the end of the vehicle container ( 12 ) remote from the inflow opening, since a temperature maximum inside the gas is to be expected here due to the heating of the compression and dissipation. In the heating zone 21 , a heat flow Q is transmitted from the natural gas in the vehicle container to the working fluid in the heat pipe 20 , whereby the working fluid evaporates. The working fluid vapor flows to the cooling zone 22 of the heat pipe 20 in order to condense there and to transmit the heat flow Q to a cooling medium or the environment. The condensate flows, driven on the tube wall, for example by a capillary structure, back into the evaporation zone of the heat pipe, which closes the working medium circuit of the heat pipe 20 .
The phase transition of two-phase work equipment, as detailed by Brost u. a. in war merohre, part I and II, heat volume 86, carried out, the large heat transfer capacity of heat pipes that do not affect pumps or other mechanical equipment instructions are instructed. It allows the transport of large heat flows at low temperatures differences and exceeds the thermal conductivity of highly conductive metals by orders of magnitude gene, so that the vehicle container is thermostatted by the heat pipe and quasi iso can be filled up to the filling limit.
In strong sunlight, natural gas containers, for example on buses or are installed in the trunk of cars, heat up strongly. In this case too, it is advantageous that a heat pipe can cool the natural gas in the vehicle container.
Fig. 3 shows in principle the flow of the fluidically optimized tank process.
The fluidically optimized refueling process essentially takes place in three steps:
Before the refueling process, there is 200 bar at ambient temperature in the gas storage 101 of the natural gas filling station and any pressure in the vehicle container 102 . The lines 103 and 104 are closed by valves which, for simplicity, have not been drawn in in FIG. 3. The line 103 is connected to a gas-tight, closable inflow opening 115 , and the line 104 is connected to an outflow opening 116 on the container 102 .
Line 103 is opened so that the overflow process between the gas storage 101 of the natural gas filling station and the vehicle container 102 can take place for the purpose of pressure equalization. Line 104 remains closed during the overflow process. The natural gas in the gas storage 101 of the petrol station has cooled slightly during the refueling process and the natural gas soaked in the vehicle container 102 has warmed up considerably. So there are different temperatures in the gas storage 101 and in the vehicle container 102 but the same pressure. The pressure compensation can e.g. B. can be determined with a pressure sensor.
Massenstrommessung erfolgen (z. B. Coriolisrohr).3. Line 104 is then opened so that the pressure of the gas reservoir 101 of approximately 200 bar prevails in the entire system. Subsequently, the warm natural gas from the vehicle container with the pump 106 is pumped through line 104 into the gas storage 101 of the natural gas tank and at the same time cold natural gas flows from the gas storage 101 through line 103 into the vehicle container 102 . Alternatively, the vehicle container 102 could also be filled through the lines 103 and 104 at the same time until the pressure equalization has taken place in the entire system. Then, as described, can be pumped with the pump 106 . The mass tanked in the vehicle container 102 and flowing in and out during the pumping-over process can take place via a volume or mass flow measurement (eg Coriolis tube).
Due to the pumping process, the system, consisting of gas storage 101 and vehicle container 102 together with lines 103 and 104 , reaches the equilibrium temperature (ambient temperature) at the operating pressure of the natural gas filling station of approximately 200 bar. The state of equilibrium that occurs is the filling level of the vehicle container, which corresponds to the requirement of TRG 102 (200 bar at 15 ° C). The vehicle container 102 is thus completely filled in accordance with the applicable legal situation. The outflow opening should be in a flow-favorable manner, in particular at the location of the maximum temperature in the container.
The optimized refueling process described can be based on measurement and control-related items dispense with the level control of the vehicle container. By simple overflow The filling process can be carried out from the gas storage of the natural gas filling station into the vehicle container within a very short time and the vehicle container is full after the refueling process.
The described fueling procedure is also recommended from an energetic point of view, as the filling station le with a lower operating pressure, namely in the described embodiment of 200 bar, works, in contrast to the usual 250 bar. Therefore, the compressed earth gas can be provided at lower operating costs.
Current petrol station technology hardly makes it possible to fully fill natural gas vehicles in accordance with the regulations. Operational practice shows that low fillings are the order of the day, which is why refueling of natural gas vehicles is often necessary or a reduced range of natural gas vehicles has to be accepted. In order to fill up the natural gas vehicle at the end of the refueling process in accordance with the specifications of PTB or TRG 102 with 200 bar at 15 ° C, the heat balance of the vehicle container must be optimized. For this purpose, the natural gas that has been collected during the refueling process in the vehicle container is extracted from the compression heat. This is distributed unevenly in the vehicle container and has its maximum at the end of the vehicle container that is far from the inflow. At this point, a heat sink must be provided, for example
as a heat pipe in the vehicle container
or
as a pumping process between the vehicle tank and the gas storage of the natural gas filling station
can be executed. With the described heat sink, the usual inadequate filling of the vehicle container is avoided, so that the radius of action of natural gas vehicles increases. Since the heat balance of the vehicle container is guaranteed by the heat sink and therefore an overfilling of the vehicle container is procedurally excluded, the natural gas filling station can also make do with fewer measuring and control devices, thereby reducing the acquisition costs of the natural gas filling station. Due to the lower operating pressure of 200 bar, the operating costs are lower than those of the usual 250 bar natural gas filling station.
