Ab 600°C wurden ca. 5% Wasserdampf zugegeben. Der Pyroly­ se-Rückstand betrug 56%, das Schüttgewicht ca. 910 g/l. Die Aktivierung wur­ de im gleichen Drehrohr bei 850°C mit 25% Wasserdampf in N2während 120 min. durchgeführt. Es wurde in einer Ausbeute von 41% eine hochwertige, abriebfeste Kugelkohle mit einer inneren Oberfläche von 1.250 m2/g erhalten.
