Die gesamte Vorrichtung ist auf einer sichelförmigen Grundplatte 9 aufgebaut. Diese Grundplatte kann mit Pflastern auf die z. B. Bauchdecke des Patienten geklebt werden, um an diesem fixiert zu werden oder die Grundplatte 9 ist mit einer entsprechenden Klebeschicht auf ihrer Unterseite versehen.
