hergestellten Karten mehrere Tage lang mit einer Salzlösung besprüht wurden, war die
Haftung der Overlay-Folie anschließend immer noch ausreichend gut. Dies ist umso
bemerkenswerter, wenn man bedenkt, daß die Außenkante der Karte offen ist, womit
die Klebebeschichtung dort freiliegt. Auch nach tagelanger, intensiver UV-Bestrahlung

Die Haftung der Kartendeckschichten (11A, 11B) auf dem Kartenkern (10) geschieht jeweils über Klebeschichten (12A, 12B). Fig. 3 zeigt einen stark vergrößerten Ausschnitt ("A") aus dem Schichtaufbau, in dem die Klebebeschichtung (12A) zwischen der Kartendeckschicht (11A) und dem Kartenkern sichtbar ist. Dabei wird die Kartendeckschicht (11A, 11B) unter einem Winkel von 180° vom Kartenkern (10A) abgezogen, wobei die dazu notwendige Kraft gemessen wird. So ergab sich beispielsweise für die Haftung einer PCTG-Kartendeckschicht (11A), die eine aus einer wäßrigen Polyester-Polyurethan-Elastomer-Dispersion mit einem polyfunktionalen Isocyant-Vernetzer hergestellte Klebebeschichtung (12A) aufwies, auf einer PCTG-Kartenkernschicht (10A) ein äußerst guter Haftwert von ca. 25 N/cm.The adhesion of the card cover layers ( 11 A, 11 B) was carried out in each case with a peel test. Wird die Laserbeschriftung beispielsweise auf der Kartenkernschicht (10, 10A) und durch die transparente Kartendeckschicht (11A) hindurch aufgebracht, so wird dem Material, das für die Kartenkernschicht (10, 10A) verwandt wird ein Laseradditiv beigemengt. Soll die Laserbeschriftung in der Kartendeckschicht (11A) erfolgen, so enthält diese ein die Laserstrahlung absorbierendes Laseradditiv. Darüber hinaus ist es vorgesehen, auch der Klebebeschichtung (12A) ein Laseradditiv beizumengen, damit eine Beschriftung auch in diesem Bereich erfolgen kann.In addition to printing on the card core layer ( 10 , 10 A) - cf. Claims (11)
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
- - eine transparente Folie bereitgestellt wird und auf diese Folie zur Ausbildung der Klebebeschichtung (12A, 12B) eine Schicht einer wäßrigen Dispersion eines Polyester-Polyurethan-Elastomers und/oder eines Acrylatcopolymers
- - mit einem polyfunktionalen Isocyanat-Vernetzer
- - und einem Verdickungsmittel aufgebracht wird,
- - nach dem Aushärten der wäßrigen Dispersionsschicht aus der so beschichteten Folie Bögen oder Einzel-Kartendeckschichten (11A, 11B) hergestellt werden,
- - die Bögen oder Einzel-Kartendeckschichten (11A, 11B) in einer Laminatpresse unter dem Einfluß von Druck und Wärme mit Kartenkernbögen oder Einzel-Kartenkernen (10) verbunden werden und im Falle der Bögen zu Einzelkarten (1) weiterverarbeitet werden.
