In the known mass flow meter from which the invention is based (cf. DE-C-41 24 295), it is known the Coriolis line and the connection lines to be carried out in one piece. With such an arrangement, the problem arises that in that the Coriolis line and the compensation cylinder relatively quickly The temperature of the flowing medium assumes that the housing is essential the temperature of the flowing medium adopts more slowly and this at large Differences between the temperature of the flowing medium and the environment temperature not fully reached, very significant thermal stresses, in particular caused by the thermally induced changes in length of the massive compensation cylinder, occur in the connection lines. These thermal stresses limit the permissible temperature temperature range for the flowing medium at the known mass flow measuring device. Outside this temperature range there is a risk that the connection Lines are destroyed by the thermal voltages. To protect against thermal stresses at high temperatures of the flowing medium is at the known mass flow meter provided with the connecting lines Tension between the housing and the compensation cylinder or Arrange Coriolis line. This tension preload causes a shift Exercise the permissible temperature range towards higher temperatures, as high Temperatures of the flowing medium due to the faster heating of Coriolis line and compensation cylinder for pressure tensions in the An lead lines that are initially compensated by the tension the. This measure does not increase the permissible temperature achieved for the flowing medium, but only a shift of the temperature range.
It is also in the mass flow meter from which the invention is based, be knows, to protect the connection lines, each with a gain cycle to coat linder. This shroud, however, finds an undesirable one Reduction of the decoupling between the Coriolis line and the outside close the housing or the environment of the mass flow meter instead, which leads to an increased sensitivity to interference of the mass flow meter. The in the known mass flow meter further proposed measure that Running corrugated connection lines is fluidically problematic because due to the corrugated design of the connection lines, the flow profile of the flowing medium is significantly influenced, which in turn leads to an increase of the pressure drop across the mass flow meter and on the other hand Measurement process can affect. Also the further proposed measure for Reduction of the voltages in the connection lines in the known Mas transmit flow meter the connection lines within the booster cylinder and the axially movable arrangement of the external connections is problematic because they are too Sealing problems and an undefined vibration coupling between the Coriolis line and the surrounding area.
Finally, there is also the measure to reduce tensions in the An Final lines to perform this at least partially curved, problematic because these curvatures lead to and drop in pressure without further measures that with regard to the cleaning and self-draining properties of the known Mass flow meter do not meet the desired requirements.
The invention is therefore based on the object, the known mass flow To design and develop the measuring device in such a way that the usable area of the Temperature of the flowing medium essential by a simple measure is enlarged.
The mass flow meter according to the invention, in which the previously derived and The stated problem is solved, is initially and essentially ge indicates that the connection lines are made of a material with high strength exist and / or that the connecting lines are long. Because the An final line and the Coriolis line are not made in one piece, but the connecting line is made of a material with high strength, is a larger one permissible range for the temperature of the flowing medium without interference the flow, without increased pressure drop and with good self-emptying properties guaranteed. Because the connection lines are long, i. H. the An final lines are longer than this for technical reasons other than Reduction of material loads would be necessary, it is guaranteed that the De Formations of the connection lines later the load limit of the material range and thus the usable range for the temperature of the flowing medium is enlarged. The two measures described to solve the invention underlying task can of course alternatively or cumulatively realize.
By choosing a material for the connection lines, which next to one high strength has good spring properties, it is guaranteed that the be Advantages already mentioned a better vibration decoupling between the Coriolis line and the surrounding area is guaranteed. This advantage is given by a Extension of connection lines supported.
Materials with high strength and good spring properties are examples as TIMETAL® 21 S (metastable beta titanium alloy from TIMET) and Aluminum-vanadium-titanium alloys, in particular 6% Al-4% V-Ti alloy gene.
The masses according to the invention are particularly advantageous Flow meter in that the connection lines are made of plastic.
This measure ensures that between the connection lines and the generally metallic compo connected to the connecting lines The mass flow meter has no electro-chemical contact potential arise. When using metallic connection lines, such Electrochemical contact potentials in general cannot be avoided, which leads to a Corrosion at the connection points of the connecting lines can result.
To the mechanical properties of the connecting Lei made of plastic To further improve it, it is advantageous to use fiber-reinforced plastic to train.
In detail, there are now a multitude of possibilities for the inventive method To design and develop mass flow meter. Please refer to this on the one hand to the claims subordinate to claim 1, others hand on the description of a preferred embodiment in connection with the drawing. The only figure in the drawing shows a longitudinal section through an embodiment of a mass flow meter according to the invention.
In the mass flow meter according to the invention for flowing media, it is one that works according to the Coriolis principle. The mass flow meter according to the invention has a with external connections, here connection flanges 1 , provided housing 2 , a compensation cylinder 3 arranged inside the housing 2 and an arranged within the compensation cylinder 3 , the flowing medium leading, at least essentially straight Coriolis line 4th In the mass flow meter according to the invention, the Coriolis line 4 and the compensation cylinder 3 are connected to one another in an axial relative movement from a closing manner and the Coriolis line 4 is connected to the connecting flanges 1 of the housing 2 via connection lines 5 .
According to the invention, the connecting lines 5 now consist of a material with high strength. The embodiment shown in the single figure before seen cantilevered connecting lines 5 made of fiber-reinforced plastic ver a high strength with good spring properties and at the same time eliminate the resulting from electro-chemical contact potentials corrosive tendencies at the junctions between the connecting lines 5 and the housing 2 or the connecting flanges 1 and the compensation cylinder 3 . The connection lines 5 shown in the single figure are at the same time longer leads than it would otherwise be technically necessary - they could, for example, also end directly on a solid connection flange 1 at the first inner edge 6 . Due to the long design of the connecting lines 5, it is guaranteed that the relative deformations of the connecting lines 5 will be lower at the same temperatures since the changes in length of the compensation cylinder 3 remain unchanged. A significantly longer version of the connecting lines than shown in the figure is also conceivable.
In addition, in the single figure, a vibration generator 7 acting on the Coriolis line 4 , two Coriolis forces and / or Coriolis vibrations-based measuring sensors 8 and the eigenfrequency of the Coriolis line 4 - within certain limits - influencing mass body 9 shown.
