Ihre Wirkungsweise beruht darin, daß ein solches Gemisch, auf flächige Gebilde wie Papier aufgetragen, bei Zimmertemperatur nicht klebend ist, bei Erwärmen auf die sogenannte Aktivierungstemperatur aufschmilzt, der bei Raumtemperatur feste Weichmacher sich dabei im Kunststoff löst und die Beschichtungsmasse dann auch nach dem Abkühlen auf Zimmertemperatur noch für längere Zeit ihre Klebfähigkeit behält, so daß ein mit einer solchen Heißklebepräparation versehenes Papieretikett auch noch einige Zeit nach erfolgter Wärmeaktivierung in bereits abgekühltem Zustand auf die zu kennzeichnende Verpackung aufgeklebt werden kann,Hot-melt adhesive preparations are increasingly being used to bond flat structures with flat structures or spatial structures, which can consist of a wide variety of materials, use. Mischpolymerisate aus Äthylen und Vinylacetat sind an sich für Heißsiegelbeschichtungen bekannt, sie haben jedoch - auch nach Zusatz von Weichmacher - keinerlei Heißklebeeigenschaften. Einmal entwickeln Äthylen-Vinylacetat-Mischpolymerisate zusammen mit festen Weichmachern keinerlei Heißklebeeigenschaften, sondern werden nach dem Aufschmelzen beim Abkühlen sofort wieder hart. Das gleiche gilt andererseits für Gemische aus Äthylen-Vinylacetatmischpolymerisaten mit anderen thermoplastischen Kunststoffen. Erst die Kombination der drei Bestandteile führt überraschenderweise zu Heißklebepräparationen, die erstmalig universell eingesetzt werden können und insbesondere auch für die Verklebung mit Oberflächen aus Polyäthylen und Polypropylen geeignet sind. Damit wird eine große Lücke im Anwendungsbereich der Heißklebematerialien geschlossen, da es bisher nicht möglich war, im Heißklebeverfahren Etiketten auf Verpackungsmaterial aus Polyolefinen anzubringen. -Diese Lücke war insbesondere deshalb schmerzlich, da es sich bei Verpackungsmaterialien aus Polyolefinen um Materialien handelt, die in steigendem Ausmaß für Verpackungszwecke eingesetzt werden.It was surprising for two reasons that the above problem can be solved by adding these very specific ones Resin component can dissolve.
